Tried the food here because someone from my hometown said it was good ..LISTEN!! So nasty, got the Cajun chicken and fries the chicken taste like water i can see some kinda seasoning but it taste like nothing!!! the fries was soggy and tasted like chili pepper no salt 0/10

I’ve been to Holy Moly Burgers and The Bird twice, and I’ll start by saying the food is genuinely good. On this most recent visit, I decided to try their new cheesesteak, and the quality of the food itself wasn’t the issue.
Unfortunately, the experience with the owner completely changed my perspective. We were given the wrong burger and charged for it. The staff members were apologetic and kind, but when we returned the incorrect burger, the owner was aggressive and questioned why the burger was made “if we didn’t order it,” instead of simply acknowledging the mistake. He then attempted to charge us again for the correct burger, even though the mix-up was on their end.
It wasn’t about the food — it was about how the situation was handled. Customer service dropped to 0% for me in that moment. Good food can’t make up for feeling disrespected. Sadly, because of that experience, I won’t be returning.
If you’re looking for tasty food and are willing to risk poor customer service and possible order confusion, this may be your spot. But for me, the attitude left a worse taste than any meal ever could.

Ordered a basket of chicken, they didn’t give sauce and when I knocked on the window to ask for some they said I didn’t get any cause I didn’t ask for it. Meal said it came with it so it had me wondering if I should’ve asked for fries too just to make sure they knew to include it.
The chicken was tough and not well fried, and the fries has no salt. Maybe it’s what I got, but what I got wasn’t worth the money

I came here due to the viral video. If these are the best wings, then Gainesville lack taste. The fries was hitting fouls and the wings wasn’t hitting much. I wouldn’t say the food wasn’t good, but it’s a soft no for me.

Heya Guy’s . My wife and I recently moved cross country from Southwest Idaho to North Central Florida shortly after which we discovered holy moly burgers and we love this place. With that being said I’d love to give this review a double rating. As far as the burgers go they get ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ every day of the week & twice on Sundays . The next rating this review ) is for the onion rings.
A couple weeks ago we were in town and we decided to stop and grab a bite to eat and try the onion rings which we hadn’t had yet and they were beer battered and Awesome. Well we were back in Gainesville today so we stopped at Holy Moly again and we were really looking forward to the onion rings only to be disappointed when we found out they were now breaded onion rings rather than beer battered and they were considerably smaller as well. Granted they were still good but the breaded onion rings don’t hold a candle to the beer battered onion rings. Needless to say this review primarily because of the onion ring debacle only gets ⭐⭐⭐ just go round and the next time I roll through I’d love to see the beer battered onion rings back again ..

Happy Me
My first visit, and it was worth the trip. I got the 2 piece lunch with potato wedges and little donuts (called dough balls), exactly as it is on the menu. The chicken had a light, crispy batter, and it was perfectly cooked. Juicy inside, and just right. The potato wedges were crispy outside and tender inside, with the right amount of seasoning. The little donuts were an unusual addition in my experience, but they were light and fluffy, and very tasty. The young lady at the walk-up window was very nice (the inside is temporarily closed), and I’ll definitely pop back by soon.

The wings were the best fried evenly coated wings I’ve ever had the chicken gizzards. I’ve never seen a breading as clean and crispy and tired as they made these. The food is phenomenal there
