We stopped here for lunch on a Sunday in January while traveling.
We were seated at a booth and there was no wait. Our server provided water and menus and returned quickly to take our meal order.
We had the grilled salmon salad and the turkey club sandwich with coleslaw. I thought the salad was good but not better than average. The sandwich was pretty tasty. The coleslaw was not overly mayonnaisey and that was nice.
Our server was friendly and attentive.
Prices were good. The atmosphere was casual and easygoing. They had a good sized lunch crowd and it wasn’t loud at all.
Parking was a shared lot with the adjacent restaurant that did not appear to be open while we were there. There didn’t seem to be many restaurants open on Sunday while we were passing through and this was one of the few we saw on Google with Sunday hours.

The server was sometimes right on the ball and other times missing in action but she was very nice. The burger was tasty but not very juicy even though I ordered medium rare and it was prepared that way. There was no ketchup on any table (after the burger was served was when my waitress and all other staff disappeared). The fries were well prepared but oversalted, although not egregiously so. The unsweetened tea was quite good, I had to use 3 of packets of sweetener (usually 2). I would be very happy to come back.

Calming atmosphere, excellent staff and the food was delicious!
We ended up ordering an appetizer and were blown away with how good it was! Highly recommend the spinach artichoke dip. They have a completely different take on than most other restaurants that offer it! So so good, and it’s practically a whole meal! Served in a bread bowl AND chips!? Get real!
We received our food promptly, I was surprised at how flavorful and tasty the pasta was even with how quick it came out. Tell me another restaurant than can have sweet servers and quick/delicious food that is the correct temperature!!

First time going, we went for lunch. It was nice and quiet. It took a while for us to be greeted once we got sat but we got good service after. The chicken pot pie was small but delicious and the chicken and dumplings were bland but never ending.

The wife and I took our son and grandson here for an afternoon lunch. We only had to wait approximately 2 minutes for our table. Waitress was amazing and very helpful. The cream corn and fried okra was the star of the show and thankful the waitress suggested it. Highly recommend!! We were probably the worst dressed people in the place but that’s okay. HaHa

I went in with high hopes but they were dashed as soon as I tasted my food. I had the chicken fried chicken with gravy and fries. It was all so heavily salted that I couldn’t taste a thing.
Another at our table received the Hawaiian ribeye which was way overcooked.

Walk into this place and was amazed out how nice and put together the entire atmosphere of this place feels like your at a high-end restaurant but the prices of the food are affordable and the food is well worth it. I had the endless lunch special of chickens and dumplings. My buddy had the Cajun pasta. He said he’d be back just for that dish. This place is a must go if your in the area.

We were welcomed to the restaurant as soon as we walked through the door. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and answered all our questions with ease. The food was delicious and I highly recommend the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer. We did half with the topping and half without, it was good with and without the topping.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but they do matter. We have been to this location several times and consider it one of our favorite restaurants!! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is always nice and quiet and the staff are great. I recently tried to make a reservation for Valentine’s Day, and the experience however was a little off. I had to end up making some changes to the day and needed to cancel my current time and readjust the reservation. I called midday to do so. When the phone picked up, I was actually concerned I didn’t call the right number because an older lady answered with a short gruff “hello?”. I then said my name, why I was calling and gave some details. She then hung up without saying a word back. I called back a couple times after with no response until a nice gentleman picked up the phone. He helped me and I told him about the experience I had just as a “hey you should know” and he was very apologetic which I appreciate, but didn’t really ask for more details and said he hoped to see us there for lunch. Unfortunately, we might pass this time around for the holiday. Otherwise, amazing service 9/10!

Very happy with the dining experience and the setting. I had the smoky bear burger medium well. My wife had the margarita chicken. Both were excellent. The pico on the chicken had a little kick but the server was awesome and was able to help adjust the heat. We also had nachos and spinach dip. The nachos reminded me of what my mom and dad used to make. Loved both. We ended with the cheesecake. 2 slices 1 raspberry 1 mango. It was wonderfully creamy but not overly sweet. Thank you holstens for a great meal. We look forward to next time. Thank you for making our anniversary perfect.
