WORTH A VISIT
We went on a Monday at 1pm, it was pretty slow, just a couple of other people dining, and the employees were a basic crew. We walked in and had just enough time to look at the menu and really decide what we wanted since it was our first time without being rushed by the staff. I got the BBQ Nachos, my husband got a turkey sandwich, I noticed he got 2 sides and I think for the $15 price that’s soooo worth it. My husband said the Mac and Cheese was wonderful, the sweet potato fries weren’t anything special, but he enjoyed them. The bbq nachos were some of the best I’ve had. The restaurant is very clean, and decorated well. Also there is an awesome mural on the side of the building.

Great little place for some BBQ. I take off one star because their side dishes need some work. The fried pickles were amazing. Brisket and pulled pork were good. Bbq nachos were yummy. The baked beans, Mac & cheese, and fries were just meh. They need to elevate their sides and then they’d be a 5-star establishment IMHO.

Ordered through delivery service. Quick and hot food, and the pulled pork was outstanding. Good smoke, juicy, good portion size. Sides were good as well, with the Brunswick Stew being a bit non traditional in composition but flavorful.
Only negative was the banana pudding. As good as the main dish was, the dessert portion was insulting. $5.75 for a micro cup the same size as a side. Not going to deduct any stars as the bbq is the real deal, but if I had been in person, I might have declined the pudding and asked for a refund

This place was recommended by a friend. I’m glad we came here. It was awesome. The server that took our order was super nice and knew her food. I had the chicken salad sandwich with beans and macaroni and cheese. My husband had the brisket sandwich with fries and Mac and cheese. The food was quick to come out. The flavor of the brisket and the chicken salad was delicious. I put the sweet sauce on the sandwich and it made it even better. The beans were good. The Mac and cheese was ok. I like more of a creamy Mac and cheese. The fries my husband had were some of the best we’ve had. Very seasoned. This is avery good place that is well worth the stop.

Went to this spot after hearing a lot of hype about it being top tier Southern BBQ in the area. Overall, it was solid, but not mind blowing. The interior design is actually really well done, great atmosphere, clean, and definitely has that Southern BBQ vibe going for it.
Food wise, the sausage and wings were definitely the highlights, super flavorful and well cooked. The ribs, though, were just okay. Nothing bad, just not as memorable or “signature” as we were expecting based on the buzz.
If you’re in the area and craving BBQ, it’s worth checking out, but don’t expect to be blown away. Still a good, reliable spot with a cool vibe. 4 stars.

We stopped at Hog Wild Beach BBQ and enjoyed a nice change of pace from all the seafood. We ordered the Tantrum, the Nasty G, and the kids grilled cheese. I dont know why but I also loved the fries they served. While it may not be the best BBQ in the state, it was definitely flavorful and satisfying. I recommend the bourbon flavored BBQ sauce.
The BBQ is served dry, which we appreciated since it lets you choose your own sauce to suit your taste. The meat was tender and well cooked, and the portion sizes were generous.
As with our other dining experiences on this trip, the service was excellent. Friendly staff, quick food, and a relaxed atmosphere made this a pleasant stop. We’ll definitely consider coming back next time we’re in town.

This place is a GEM! BBQ is absolutely delicious, along with the sausage and sides. The atmosphere is upbeat and so is the music. Comfortable seating and staff are super friendly too. High recommend and we’re gonna use them to cater our next trip. I LOVE Hog Wild Beach & BBQ

We ate dinner here and ordered four meals. My wife ordered the smoked chicken salad sandwich and loved it. Both kids had smoked turkey sandwiches and really liked them. I thought the turkey was a little dry, but good. I had the brisket sandwich. I thought the brisket was just ok and didn’t have much of a smoke flavor. The amount of brisket on the sandwich seemed lacking for a $19 sandwich. Overall I would say this was average to slightly above average BBQ.

Not my first time but honestly just as good! I got a pulled chicken sandwich with baked beans and Cole slaw.. all of it was delicious! We enjoyed trying the different sauces! Will be back!

I tried something new the other day and wasn’t disappointed. Crispy chicken was very good. I had the white sauce on the side. My husband had the Brisket sandwich. Great dinner.
