The food was good, and service was fast and friendly. We weren’t aware it was a chain. Don’t know if we will make it a point to come back as it was a stop along a trip. I had the pulled pork and ribs. Both were tender and tasty. Their Hog-n-Gold sauce was really good.

My husband was having surgery today and I went over to get him some essential recovery food…ordered 2 blueberry biscuits (they had a full pan) and sat down. About 15 minutes later I was told they sold out. Someone in the drive-thru got my post op gift. I was a little upset since I had just seen 2 dozen of them. When I explained that I really needed them for a patient…they made me a fresh pan. With a get well note.. outstanding customer service, above and beyond. Gods chicken ain’t got nothing on gods BBQ and breakfast.

If you like chicken salad sandwiches definitely order “The Big Scoop”. It’s delicious and they give you tons of chicken salad along with lettuce, tomato and buttery toasted bread. Also, their employees are always super friendly and courteous. Great place.

This was a great surprise…just off I-95. Quaint decor, excellent service, and great BBQ. We had the hog ‘n’ slaw – pulled pork with cole slaw between two slices of TX Toast. Good selection of sauces – sweet and spicy – served in portion size packets. Very nice spot for lunch- I also hear the breakfast entrees are outstanding.

I recently visited this restaurant about a month ago. And omg… they have the best ribs in town!! And they also serve breakfast. And the steak biscuit is very good!! So if you live in the area or just traveling through you should definitely give them a try at least once. I really think that you will be glad you did!! Well I hope that you enjoy this place as much as I do. I have eaten there 1 to 2 times a week since I went there the first time. That’s how good the ribs are. Oh, and the onion pedals are very good too….Enjoy!!!

I have going to this location since it opened. I have always found it to have great food at a good value. Went there today at 4:00 for dinner. After ordering my food, I realized prices have increased by about 15%. I said to myself good food is worth it. After ordering to dine in I noticed I did not get a number for the table. The casher gave me a number and said he put it in to go but don’t worry. I noticed my order came up to the window and stayed there for a while. I went to the counter to get my order, but was told it was supposed to be to go and needed to be bagged. I told her it was for here and took it to my table. I noticed that the beans were no longer warm, but ate them. I started on the sandwich, but it was all slaw but very little meat. I ate some of the sandwich but soon realized it was not very good. Having to return back to my office for patients, I asked for a refund. The manager processed the refund and gave me only $5.00. I asked her why. She said because I have already eaten the lukewarm beans and some of the sandwich that was mostly slaw that’s all I get. I think walking out I said, you may have saved $4.00 but you have lost a customer. I think this place has gone the way of all the others by increasing the prices with less food and value. I guess it was good while it lasted.

I pre ordered a smoked butt for my son’s graduation. When I went to pick it up, they said they didn’t have an order from me. I was able to buy one but I had to wait and argue with them. It tasted exceptional, though, so I will return! Super yummy and a good value for my family.

Got my order taken by the most delightful young lady but while I was waiting, a young man who’s name I was told was Glen by said young lady kept grabbing her very inappropriately and making unwanted advances. She said it was alright, but other staff could CLEARLY see what was happening and not one soul did anything. Horrible managing for this to be allowed in a Christian establishment.

We use to love this place , but now this place has really went downhill fast. The staff is all teenagers who are eager to close up 1 hour before closing time and rush you out. Then they throw out all the ribs 1 hour before closing. NEVER will me or my company eat from this establishment again. CUSTOMER service is not what they are about! Dont waste your money with these rude people.
