After waiting for a long time to visit Hocca with my family we finally were able to meet there today. I am afraid that it was not worth it at all and very disappointing. The kibbe appetizer was cold when it got to our table and grease. Besides the shrimp “pastéis” was big in size, that’s it, because it had no taste. The caipirinha was horrible, apparently they used lemon juice which is not common and it tasted old and far from refreshing. Our expectations were very high for the feijoada. The presentation was fine, but the feijoada itself not the best. It was extremely salty and with less meat than the traditional style. Overall the place is good for tourist, but far from the authentic Brazilian cuisine. Apparently the standard are lower than expected and for those reasons I will hesitate to recommend the restaurant.

Hocca Orlando opened in 2019. I’ve been to this location 5x and every time the food is extraordinary. Portion size ranges from individual size to family style. My photos from todays visit are cheese empanada, Mrs. Pichana (family style fed 4), desserts is their flan and vanilla ice cream. Highly recommend this family friendly restaurant. So disappointing . The staff was friendly. The bar and menu were amazing and the empanadas were ok. But the service was so incredibly horrible. Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever had worse.
