I’ve been coming to Ho Win Palace for years and overall it’s a really good spot. Most of the time the food is great, especially if you’re going for dinner. Like anywhere, a few things can be a little hit or miss, but the majority of the time everything comes out really good.

Our go-to order is the beef teriyaki, shrimp fried rice, chicken wings, and salt & pepper shrimp. Those are always solid choices and honestly what keeps us coming back. This time we decided to try the chicken teriyaki, but it wasn’t the best compared to the other dishes we usually get.

The service is very good and really fast. Sometimes it can feel a little rushed though, like they’re trying to serve you and get you out the door. I understand it can get really crowded and the space isn’t huge, but this time it was actually a bit empty and it still felt like that. Not sure if that’s just how they run things or if I’m just overthinking it.

They’ve also recently remodeled and the place definitely looks nicer. I really like the wooden touches they added, it gives the restaurant a warmer feel.

Overall, it’s still a place I’ve been going to for years and will keep going back to. Just stick with the classics and you’ll probably have a great meal, their drinks are also really good!

We ordered take out one time and we really like it we had to try it again at the restaurant. Beautiful bar and bar area. Food is good my favorite was the lo mein. Price is not bad at all. Service was ok I would’ve liked for her to have said hi when she came to the table instead of saying ready. Really liked that the manager came to our table to make sure everything was ok! That is a big plus. We’ll be back

We have the unfortunate opportunity to try this place in our first time in Boston. On advice that the Chinese food sucks over here well this place concurred that. We had barbecue spare ribs which taste like they took it out of the freezer and microwaved it and dropped Thai sauce on it… Chicken and broccoli was thrown together. And taste of like frozen foods from a package. The rice was just straight up white rice mixed with some mixed vegetable out of the frozen package. Absolutely no taste at all. The spring rolls were full of oil not crispy no flavor. And the wonton soup taste like toilet water I have to spit it out. Literally. After all that we have to remove the leftovers from the room at the encore Resort and put it into the hallway because it started to stink. Do not waste your time with this place or money this review is just to help you people out. From a very bad experience we ended up having to buy something to eat. Have to spending almost $100 here. And then to top it off they took two hours for our delivery.

Got a gift certificate from a friend at work who frequents this restaurant (I had never been)
I went for the first time last night and I loved it. The food was fantastic, service was great and the atmosphere was perfect. I enjoyed the pineapple rice so much I just picked up another order of it! I think the Ho Win Palace is our new go-to for Chinese food!

First time ordering from this restaurant which we don’t live far from but I always like to try delivery service when available . When she arrived I thought it was nice that she let me know she was here however I quickly learned why she stayed . She asked me for a tip several times over and wouldn’t let it go. Gave me an attitude on her way out cause I didn’t give a tip. I don’t carry cash with me and honestly I didn’t tip cause she basically was coming across the road . Plus lately delivery service at my building has been awful . I tip for great customer service . They charged us a 5 dollar delivery fee. Not to mention for two combo plates we paid over 60 dollars for . So I feel that the delivery fee was her tip seeing she only came across the street. First time and will be the last time. Not impressed .. food was okay …

Ordered for pickup before the dinner rush. Food was so cold and disgusting. None of it was edible. Some stuff you took a bite and the smell was off you knew you were going to be sick. Gross

Fun, friendly atmosphere at the bar. Staff is attentive with quick service. I usually stop in once or twice a month and have never been disappointed.

Overpriced and sadly the food isn’t great. Recently moved to the area looking for good Chinese food and got Crab Rangoon and Chicken Teriyaki and both lacked flavor. The Chicken was heavily fried with minimal sauce and the sauce that did come with it wasn’t even good. For what they charge, the food should be decent.

Very delicious Chinese food. The only great place in Chelsea! You get a lobster when you spend $100 or more! A steal!

This place is my go to when I’m in town! I lived in Somerville for 8 years and didn’t discover this place until I moved and my sister relocated to the neighborhood. The food is always hot, delicious and they are friendly. The owner is great as well. I literally came from Logan to Ho Win Palace. Keep doing what you do!
