This quaint restaurant, around the corner from the main street downtown, is quite good. Everything is seasoned well and authentic. The paella is amazing!! The sangria was delicious; I could have drank a whole pitcher! The waitress/hostess also paints beautiful canvases which are on display. Now I have to go back and this time make room for dessert.

Fun little intimate restaurant in downtown Clearwater. Small menu but packed with flavorful items. Stop by on our way to a concert at the Bilheimer theater. Ordered the cheese platter, Spanish meatballs, empanadas, bravas potatoes and paella. We really enjoyed every dish that we shared and especially the empanadas, meatballs and the bravas potatoes. It is a fun evening to sit and casually. Order multiple dishes to share by sipping on a fine wine.

So pleasantly surprised to find this little gem of a restaurant in downtown Clearwater. Simply one of the BEST paellas I’ve had! The cheeses, cured meats, and aioli potatoes tapas were delicious. And don’t even get me started on the beef empanadas! Sooooo good. The homemade sangria was fresh and tasty and the small pitcher was perfect for two people. It was a quiet night which allowed the owner time to be extremely attentive to our table. She was lovely. We will definitely be adding Hispania to our rotation of local eateries. Very appetizing and extremely reasonable given the quality and the amount of food/drinks we ordered. If you like tapas and Spanish cuisine, you won’t be disappointed. Go!

Celebrated a birthday here and was very happy to experience a true taste of Spain. The alioli potatoes and empanadas were so tasty and my favorite. The chicken paella was great too and I had some of the best Sangria I’ve ever had. The place is filled with beautiful artwork all around as well.

We had a very poor experience. Though the owner was very friendly, we were the only people in the restaurant and the food was not at all good. The chicken, rice and vegetables seemed to be microwaved from frozen. The seafood came out and was grey. We did not eat our meals but kindly paid the tab and left.

Atmosphere was lovely and sangria was excellent. A bit disappointed in the menu. I picked this place for the several vegan options such as the vegan alioli potatoes and vegan chocolate cake. They were unavailable. The prices on the website differed and were more expensive in person. Felt we were pushed into ordering more menu items which made me a little uncomfortable. Enjoyed the food, just wished there was more honest transparency with the menu on the website.
