Went here while visiting my daughter in Lincoln, I thought the sushi was pretty good. We had prompt friendly service and it was in a neat location. We had the mochi after we ate and it was good too. We would definitely come back again.

We were sat promptly after notifying them of our reservation and were asked if there were any food allergies that they should be aware of before we ordered drinks. All orders were accurate. Drinks were refilled promptly upon request without being interrupted mid conversation. Great place to get great food and service.

The happy hour deals are wonderful. The rolls are delicious and there are plenty of great options to choose from. The Princess martini has a nice balance; sweet but not too much. The staff was congenial and on top of drink refills etc. We had a party of 9 and the sushi came out much quicker than I expected for a party that size. Blue has been my favorite sushi spot for years, but Hiro 88 is definitely my new go-to. Blue’s prices seeming to soar higher every visit.

If you are looking for a great, quick lunch to-go, go elsewhere…literally ANYWHERE else! Placed an order online at 9:52 am for pickup at 12:00 pm. I called the restaurant at 11:50 to ensure they received the order, and we were good to go on a 12 pickup. I was told, “Yes, we have the order, and you can pick it up at 12”. I arrived at the restaurant at approximately 12:05, and I was advised by the hostess it would be just a “few more minutes” that the order was being “finished up.” Meanwhile, a couple entered the restaurant and were seated. After about 10 minutes passed, I asked about the status of my to-go order and was once again told “it’s coming.” At 12:20, I asked to speak to a manager. After rolling her eyes at me, the hostess reluctantly went to find a manager. Remember the couple that was seated shortly following my arrival at the restaurant? Well, they placed their order and were now eating their lunch. Meanwhile, I was still waiting on a to-go order that was placed 2 and a half hours prior with a noon pickup time. At 12:25 when the manager came out, I was advised that the chicken drumsticks were just dropped into the fryer as the kitchen “did not know what chicken drumsticks were”. I was assured that the rest of my order had been ready “for some time” they were now waiting for the “chicken to cook”….meanwhile the remainder of my order was getting cold. At this point the hostess tried telling me in the future I needed to make sure I placed my order at least 20 minutes before I planned on picking it up “as it takes time to cook stuff”. I advised the manager and his snippy assistant that the order was placed at 9:52 am and provided him with my email confirmation. The manager said, “Sorry guess we dropped the ball”. It was not until I asked what he planned to do to make it right that he said, “Since the chicken is not ready I can take that off your check.” I advised him that would not suffice and he offered a 50% discount. Remember that couple from before….they were wrapping up their meal by this time. Finally, at nearly 12:40 the hostess returned from where she had been hiding since the manager came out at 12:25 to bring us our order. She dropped the order on the counter with an attitude as if I had taken nearly 40 minutes to get her order to her. I asked her for a receipt indicating the 50% discount was applied to my check (as the order was placed online and paid for at that time). She said, “If he said he would credit it, he will. You don’t need a receipt”. I explained to her I did need a receipt as I had no faith in the restaurant’s ability to do what they said they would do as they could not accomplish a 12:00 pickup when provided with more than a 2-hour notice. To say she was rude would be an understatement. As someone who orders lunch out daily, I will be happy to provide their fellow competitors with my business in the future.

I hope the owner of this restaurant reads this. Terrible service and even worse food. At about 50% capacity and plenty of servers wandering around, somehow, our server still managed to forget our large table existed. Drinks and sides weren’t brought out until we asked three times. Multiple managers appeared to be standing around and just watching without giving any guidance or direction to servers or checking on customers. Being a Friday night, you’d think they’d have at least one person in the kitchen who knows what they’re doing. Apparently not. The rice was so dry it was impossible to use chopsticks. The sashimi was a mixture of temperatures wrong textures for the types of fish the server claimed they were. Never going here again.

It was an out of the ordinary bad experience. It took about 15 minutes before a server came to get our order. Then we waited another 15-20 minutes before our appetizers arrive. The rest of the meal arrived 2 minute later. Since we had to eat the appetizer first, that left the rolls sitting there getting more soggy and they fell apart by the time we got to eating the last few pieces. The server checked on our table once, but otherwise didn’t glance our way. I couldn’t get his attention to check on our order.

Always a good experience at all three locations, Lincoln (2) and Omaha (1). Good wine selection, appetizers and sushi. Cedar plank salmon is very good as well as Milton’s chicken. Not happy about VIP program being discontinued, but will continue to visit. Top three favorite restaurants, top sushi restaurant.

We ordered pickup today and they forgot to give us 2 items, even though we were charged for them. When I called them, they said I could drive all the way downtown again (4 miles) and pick up the 2 items they forgot, but they would not provide me credit. I have been a regular for years, but will never go there again. The Saturday afternoon manager was SOOO rude. The minimum they should have done is give us credit.
