Fantastic hometown place to grab a well cooked breakfast with super fast and friendly service. My coffee cup never went empty the entire time I was there. They are great with getting your food out and come back many times to the table to check on you. Only thing I wished I could have was a mimosa! We tried the Irish Omelet this time that had corned beef in it, and it was so delicious!

The Hilltop Cafe left a lot to be desired during lunch only because of the lack of having anyone around to take my order for 10 minutes.
I do give a lot of latitude to every restaurant I go to, but this was ridiculous, even for lunch.
So unlike most of my reviews I can’t give any advice other than expect a wait after you’re seated… but for how long who knows since I left after 10 minutes after my initial drink order due to no wait staff. I will say the tea and water was served immediately after being seated (if that really matters in the grand scheme of things).
The atmosphere in the Hilltop Cafe was nice with a great vibe.
The menu looked appealing.
Lots of accessible parking.

Husband and I decided to try something different from our weekend breakfast spot, and this place was rather disappointing. The food was ok, the price was kind of ridiculous for the food quality. The waitresses were professional. The coffee is crap. I wasn’t sure why it was so busy all the time… was really disappointed that we strayed away from our regular spot.

We’ve got bacon, ham, peppers, and egg on the first sandwich;, bacon egg and cheese on the second; a Belgian waffle with syrup; and a chicken fried steak with scrambled eggs and home fries.
The food was fresh and tasty.
The first sandwich was a little dry. It needed some sort of condiment, I tossed on a bit of ketchup there, but the bacon egg and cheese was great. Needed nothing.
The side of bacon tasted great, and the home fries were delicious as well. The country fried steak was alright, but the gravy could use a bit more flavor. Salt and pepper were added. The eggs were unmemorable.
Belgian waffle was thick and hearty. Very nice addition as a dessert, and the maple syrup was flavorful. Definitely would recommend.

Great place for a reasonable priced breakfast of quality food. Cooked as ordered, fast friendly service and clean . I always enjoy having breakfast here! Still great after 5 wonderful years . Love the double cheeseburger for lunch and Sam is always so upbeat and welcoming .

This food was cooked and crafted to pure cafe perfection. (You guys know me, it’s only breakfast reviews really)
This is everything I want from my breakfast diner food. Bacon was soft with real popping pork flavor, not Sysco, corporate delivery frozen truck hog.
Scrambled eggs were soft as butter, yellow as dandelion and fluffy as a cloud. Toast was burnt just right and the home fries were half soft and white and half browned and crispy, just the way they should be, a potato mess on your plate. Makes every Irishman happy.
My server was eager to help me and double check everything with pleasure even with a full house there.
Drive to Hilltop and eat well with great staff and customers that all want to be there, regular folks on first name basises. Great spot.

Great breakfast, clean tables and wonderful service. Even though it was crowded the waitresses were quick to bring your drink(s) and take your order. Food was very very good and hot when served at the table. Great Job Hilltop Cafe!
