Atmosphere is great. We were here on a Saturday night. Between 6-7pm they have a live DJ, which is loud but has some amazing jams to play! 7-8pm they have another DJ come in and Play something softer to get you into the Jazz part of the night. Which will start at 8. Make sure you make reservations!!! Reservations are a must!! The Jazz part is amazing and great vibe all around!

Me and some ladies visited for the first time on Halloween. The place is pretty and we absolutely loved the picture booth! Our attendant Macy was phenomenal! I loved my lamb chops. From the rest of the group, the yams could have been sweeter, the ox tails not enough seasoning, the greens were okay and the wings needed to be cooked a little longer (she took them home and put them in the air fryer and they were good). Overall, I will come back for the service of Macy and lamb chops alone! I love supporting our black owned businesses. I will give it another chance for sure!

First time here. Spent more than I planned. Wish I could exclaim how great it was but I can’t but I also won’t unload every issue here. If the owner wishes to provide an email here for me to email my concerns and suggestions to, I’ll do that. Otherwise I do see yall trying, i really do but… all i will say is i understand the overcooked food mentioned in previous reviews. The atmosphere and decor and JAZZ was great. The Instagram worthy photo box was nice but the lighting at your table is not good for photos without Flash for those that like snapping it up. fyi. 🙂

To the owner truly, thank you for the zero proof offerings. This is good. Sometimes us non drinkers like a little somethin somethin beyond soda and tea. Lol

The live music is a great concept. It was little too loud for my liking. I couldn’t think straight. Food took 45 mins. It was poor quality. The chicken Alfredo was so oily and came with a dinner roll. It looked like a cheap meal and tasted as such. The Mac and cheese was too salty. The wings were over cooked a little. The ranch was so nasty I lost my whole appetite. I don’t see this establishment being here for long based off the low quality food. Sounds the the owner takes cheap routes on food and over charge for it. I definitely will not recommend anyone I care for to come here.

Stopped by for brunch on a Saturday and was informed options from entire menu were available. It was not busy so I was seated inside quickly. There is an outdoor area but due to weather i stayed inside. The location is easy to find and inside is very classy. There was r&b music playing to help set the brunch vibe. This may not be the best spot if u want a chill space where u can hold conversation since the music level was giving party/club vibes. The wait time for food was acceptable considering most food is cooked to order. Service was kool a d food was ok. This spot feels more about celebration with less focus on high quality food experience.

Lowkey spot with live band. The drink was great and affordable. Liked how the glass was chilled. Wings were great. The lemon pepper with honey hot on the side >>>. Also, tried the oxtails. They weren’t the best I’ve had but they weren’t the worst either. There were also lots of places to take pictures inside the place. Owners and managers are really nice and will check in on you often.

This is not the place to go if you want to be able to talk to others or to eat. If you want to dance or just hang it’s cool, but overall the food was pretty nasty( I got served a cheap roll most likely from Walmart, and super greasy Alfredo. The place is VERY loud, the live music is cool they are nice but it’s too loud. Overall a 2/10 experience.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. We made a reservation a week in advance for a birthday celebration and arrived on time to be seated. There were only 4 tables that were filled in the entire restaurant when we arrived. We sat for20 minutes patiently waiting to…at the very least be greeted or acknowledged by our server. We were passed by several servers for 20 minutes with zero acknowledgement.
We finally got up and exited the restaurant and took our business next door to Vila Brazil. The restaurant was full when we arrived, however we were greeted and seated. Our server promptly greeted us and began excellent service.
I guess Hillside Social let the automatic 17% gratuity fool them into believing that good service is not required.

The food was very salty and over cooked. Not a place I would suggest for people to eat there. However the music was good. I think the 20% gratuity was crazy and the waitress wanted more.

The atmosphere was wonderful, but service was mediocre and the food was not a good experience. The red fish was drowning in a weird tasting sauce and the crab or whatever was on top tasted like fish guts . Anyway the place is gorgeous and the live band was an added fave. If you go just order the wings and maybe burger. The mac and cheese was good but greens were bitter, the greens beans were not what was advertised and asparagus was under cook. Oh and the bourbon shot was 17 bucks and tasted cheap. Happy they get better menu choices or a new chef .
