First time in Atlanta and I visited this restaurant based on Goggle reviews. I ordered Acheke with grilled tilapia, plantain and two bottles of their signature ginger drink . Opted for a take out. The food was sumptuous! Great customer service!! Clean environment !!! Rosey was so nice. Would definitely visit again and recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Sephora was our server and she was absolutely amazing. She was so kind and patient. The location is right off Memorial Drive in Stone Mountain; close to the highway. There isn’t much parking in the lot, but they are in front of a building that has a huge lot and next door to another restaurant with a small lot. If needed you could park in either of those places. I’m not sure it is okay to park in those places, but I saw people parking there also. The space isn’t big either. There might be 8-10 tables total, but there wasn’t a wait when I dined. I arrived before my friend and was greeted immediately and sat immediately. The restaurant was clean and beautifully decorated with artwork on the walls. There was music playing and it was at the perfect volume for me to enjoy but still hear myself talk. From the time we placed our orders to when the food arrived was probably 15-20 minutes. I had egusi with chicken and fu fu. It was so good and hearty. I also ordered sorrel and plantains. I enjoyed all of my food. It was flavorful and filling. I paid $46 for my entire meal which also included a bottle of water. I will definitely go back. Our server handed us a loyalty card at the end of our meal. She was so amazing!!!

5 star food hands down. The best African food I ever tried this far. Egusi was super flavorful and the side of sweet/spicy sauce gave it a nice pop. Plantains cooked just right and not greasy. Jollof rice with lamb and onion sauce was excellent.

Customer services was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. The food a was was just average. The Jollof rice was good but the lamb was not tender. It was not tough, but it wasn’t tender either. There are other menu items I would like to try. I still recommend that you check this place out.

Le Noweau Maquis is hands down one of my favorite spots! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection every time I dine in. You can really taste the authenticity and love put into each dish. If you’re looking for amazing West African cuisine, this is definitely the place to go!
