Pleasant surprise to find this place. Old style down home joint. The fried chicken was outstanding. I was looking around and expecting to see my grandma in the kitchen. It was as good as her’s. The prime rib sandwich was another surprize. Huge stack if prime rib.

My steak was rare when ordered medium, brought out 2nd time, still rare, told them to keep cuz on 3rd time would of been leather. They still charged for soup and salad, they said steak was fine, and there is a whiner in every crowd. First time and last time I’ll eat there, how disrepectful. When you pay $27 for a steak, i expect it to be cooked how i want.

Hilltop restaurant is home to the worst dining experience in the continental United States. If you are patient enough to finally receive a menu and a drink, you will be rewarded with an incredibly long wait for poor and mediocre microwaved entrees. The only thing slower than the service at Hilltop is your appetite after you see what they call food. Words cannot describe the disappointment you will find here. You’ve been warned.

The resturant open only at night due to slow business. The location beautiful overlooking the lake and Kingsley Dam. Food and service excellent and family owned. Entrance off highway just a little rough due to being a dirt road.
