The food was great. We had a funny Chef and fast time. The entrance looks a little sketchy but when you get up there it looks great, the view is awesome. We had a great time

We came for our daughter’s 8th birthday last night. The experience was highly mediocre and not worth the money. I have been to lots of Hibachi restaurants across different states. This was by far the biggest let down. And most expensive!
1. The views and ambiance are amazing, 10/10.
2. The parking garage was closed for a private event, so we had to find street parking which was nearly impossible, having to walk multiple blocks to the restaurant, making us an hour late for our reservation. No valet offered
3. From the front desk to the server to the chef, everyone was unfriendly
4. Typically, when the chef cooks the food, it’s the highlight of the meal. It’s the whole experience! This chef wasn’t there for more than 10 minutes, was very disengaged, barely talked to us, just prepared the food with minimal tricks and fun and left.
5. We ordered our steaks to be prepared at different temperatures. My husband likes his rare. The kids like theirs medium. He cooked all the steaks together, regardless of the fact that my husband ordered the filet mignon and the kids got the basic steak – he cooked it all together, at the same temperature and disbursed it across everyone.
6. My husband ordered a very expensive lobster tail. The chef cooked it with everything else, diced it into tiny pieces, and tossed into the kids mouths before we even realized what he was throwing – meaning 90% of it ended on the floor
7. Overall the meat was dry and the food had no flavor. No seasoning what do ever, just soy sauce. Everything tastes the same and was bland.
Will not be back! The hibachi I had in Iowa of all places was far superior.

Booked reservations for New Years Eve for 5:30 pm (fireworks started at 6pm) we weren’t seated till 6:30pm. Late seating wasn’t a major issue since we could still have the kids watch the fireworks from the bar area.

Once seated at our own fault realized it was a set menu at $50 a guest.

Having a shellfish allergy and all options for appetizers having shellfish (being fired in same oil) and entrees besides chicken being shellfish… left me paying $50 for chicken, salad, ice cream. My husband ordered the Japanese egg rolls which were burnt and his fried rice was burnt with charred flakes from the grill.

The manger came over and offered a free beer. Happy new year I guess.

A set menu during a busy night ensures quality and they definitely fell short in that department… fire burnt rice and burnt egg rolls. Management disputing saying “yes that looks fine enough to eat”

Honestly if wanting to watch the fireworks inside just go to the bar and order order drinks

The food was good. The server Jonathan was very attentive. The cook wasnt as entertaining like I have seen before. I would probably return. The early bird prices were good.

After placing our order with the waitress, the chef at the table completely disregarded our request for no vegetables in the rice. He gave 3 orders of rice with no vegetables to the other end of the table. We informed the waitress who stated they would make it in the back. When the chef realized he made a mistake, his response was “oh well too late” and said we should have told him our order instead. It was rude and unnecessary. He could have just apologized for the mix up. My wife’s entire order had to be made in the back. He shuffled food between plates as if he didn’t know what he was doing, which is how my plate ended up with 4/5 pieces of steak. He said he had to get more steak for my order as well as vegetables for another guest because he didn’t get her order right either. I asked for well done. The 1st time he made it correctly, but when he got more steak, he tried to rush to cook it. It ended up being medium well. By the time my entire order was completed it was cold. However, despite his rude demeanor, our waitress was amazing. Everyone at the table wanted to just tip her instead of him bc he was all over the place. It was a mess.

Came here 2 times so far & I will definitely be back. My first time I came with a group of sisters from my church. We had a good server & a good chef. We got a bunch of things. Shrimp and chicken and steak and salmon teriyaki. The extras are a bit expensive. It’s like $12 for a side of shrimp. $10 for extra rice. & like $10 for extra chicken. We came on a Sunday so we were able to get the special & paid like $20 for our meals not including the extras. The second time I came on a Saturday with a friend. We came as soon as the opened so we were able to get the early bird special that I believe ends at 6:15. We ordered a lot of items. Salmon, scallops, shrimp, chicken, steak. We also order honey teriyaki wings which were sooooo good! It comes with 6 wing dings for maybe $12. Each time we got fried rice, veggies & a salad. They charge $3 extra for just broccoli. I recommend just picking the onions & zucchini out & eating just the broccoli instead of paying extra. They charge gratuity. Idk what percentage it is, but it doesn’t matter the party size, they charge it.

Place is EXTREMELY overpriced. Trust the negative reviews before you come here. I had the exact same experience. You’re paying over $35 a plate for a view and that’s it. The costs in person were higher than online. The PARKING was also $30, which is absolutely outrageous.

I’m the kind of person who would’ve dealt with all this if the food is good. WRONG.
The food was bland, burnt, and unappetizing. You don’t get soup. They overcooked our steak (asked for rare) to damn near rubber. Scallops were chewy, burnt and inedible (see photo-so dark!) The portions of rice were small. Don’t expect to have many leftovers, unlike other hibachi restaurants.

There was no show with it either. The chef was inexperienced, dropped egg shells in our food several times (and spent time fishing them out of the eggs) and barely spoke to us. I saw him accidentally drop food into the waste/discard hole and fish it back out twice. No volcano, no squirt in the mouth. Again, I would’ve accepted it if the food was good, i’m not picky, but it wasn’t.

The biggest pros was that the server was kind and kept my drink refilled without me asking, and was receptive to our complaints. The sushi was yummy, though also overpriced. The view was gorgeous, and the interior decor was lovely as well.

The Not So Favorable Review Is Not About The Food. It’s About The Atmosphere & Cleanliness Of The Restaurant. First Off I Came There When They Had Just Opened & The Bathrooms Were Filthy. How?! As Far As The Decor… Nonexistent. This Is A Japanese Restaurant Where’s The Culture? They Just Have These Sloppy Couch’s Sitting There That I Refused To Sit. Now As Far As The Food I Can Say That I Was Quite Pleased With The Taste Of The Food. The Chef Claimed To Be New. He Did A Great Job. Made My Steak To My Liking ( Medium). He Was Kind, Courteous, Respectful. The Server Lady Was Also Kind & Helpful. So They’re Not Really Lacking In Those Departments. They Need Redecorating & More Attention To Cleaning Detail. They’re At A Great Location, But The Look Is So Underwhelming.

Hosts were great, & so was the bartender. I ordered to go & they didn’t do drinks to go so I got a sprite at the bar because I was told the wait was 30 minutes.

2 teriyaki chicken meals came to around $70 and one of the meals looked like it was eaten out of because the other meal looked had more of a portion than the other. The proportions were DEFINITELY not $35 worth of chicken and rice. Maybe $8,and that’s being nice.

& lawwwwd DONT GET ME STARTED ON THE BATHROOMS. Charging as much as they do for food and can’t even keep the bathrooms clean is disgusting & absolutely unacceptable.

***Now none of this food was eaten or touched at the point of taking these photos & each meal was the same and supposed to be the same proportions!!***

& my children and I have eaten here before they’re 11 and 9 and they both gagged and said never again. Horrible horrible horrible. I hope they at least pay their employees well because they’re nice. I was going to go back in the morning with the food but I don’t feeel like arguing with anyone.

Just taking a loss , the photos speak for themselves. Two of the same exact meals and they look SO very differerffof
