I was recently there on vacation with my last leg being on a cruise but coming back to write that the Bacon Onion Jam Burger was surprisingly one of the best meals I had all trip! I thought it was just gonna be another pool side burger but it was awesome, burger meat was juicy, bacon onion jam was sweet but savory, jalapeño garlic aioli added balance and flavor, tomato and lettuce added freshness, and the Hawaiian pretzel bun was a perfect carrier. We wanted to try other spots on the property but regretted not going back to get another of this tasty burger. Everything else was just average pool shack food.

This is the pool bar at the Dig Site in Coronado Springs. This has a laid-back vibe where you can get food and drinks during your pool visit. The service took longer than expected to get our food ready, but it’s mainly due to low demand.
The food itself ranges from decent to actually good. The kids quesadilla is basic, but still works as a meal. I enjoy the new fries they have, though. The flaming hot Mac and Cheese bites tasted weird, but the sauces on top enhanced the flavor exponentially. Overall, not the best food on property, but still works for a good meal.

Food and drinks were very good. Frozen drinks were pre-made but still tasted pretty good. The food was unique and tasty, the walking nachos with Doritos nacho cheese were a hit with my 8 year old and my 5 year old loved the personal pizzas.

Great Pina colada, average food. Value for what you pay is low. Ambiance is lacking. Dining areas were clean. Wouldn’t travel to hang out here but fine for those staying on property.

Meh. Food service was quick. Bartender took his time chatting with patrons before acknowledging me. Fries were good but nothing special. Shrimp tacos were fine but I wouldn’t order again. Plenty of tables with shade umbrellas.

Was pleasantly surprised about the food here. The kids ordered pizza and they devoured it. The boss and I ordered the nachos and they were enough for a lunch time snack for us to share. Worth it if your having a nice pool day

This is a nice Bar and Grill located by the pool in the Dig Site. There is some seating at the bar or you can sit under an umbrella covered table to enjoy your drinks and food. You can order drinks at the bar and there are aseparate pair of windows for ordering food.

A great place to start your day when you are staying at the Coronado Springs resort. They offer good breakfast options and free refills for the Rapid Fill mug, it’s also a lot more quiet and relaxing compared to the main building. Highly recommended, especially if you’re staying at the cabanas.
Update 2019. Nothing has really changed since the last time I was here. The surroundings have gotten an update and so has the theming, together with the big resort refurb. I do miss the trees that surrounded the place a few years ago, it’s more out in the open now.
The food is still good. This place have the best fries in Coronado Springs.
Watch out if you visit in May or September as those months are lovebug months and those pesky buggers are all over the pool area.

The frozen drinks here are very good. Expensive but good. Staff are friendly and helpful as well. Very good service!
