It’s one of the few Chinese restaurants we decided to try in Rome. After all, good Asian restaurants are hard to find here, and some are located too far away for us to get to – especially in the cold weather.
We decided to go with the set meal, which includes a choice of any soup, any meat or seafood dish (excluding the more expensive options), a drink, and a bowl of rice for €15 (if I remember correctly). We thought it was a good deal.
We ordered the Hot & Sour Soup, Sweet & Sour Pork, Curry Prawns, Coke Zero, and an additional Mixed Vegetable dish.
The dishes were generally good, as long as we didn’t compare them to the same dishes we’ve had in Asian countries.
Overall, we enjoyed dining there, though we do hope the service staff could avoid loud conversations and joking around in the restaurant, and maintain a more professional atmosphere.

Food is pretty decent but service takes long that you might be not served at all . Got takeout for small eats, a soup and sweet and sour pork took 30 min when I went during non busy hours. I went a second time and didn’t get acknowledged at all for 20 min during busy hours near the register, I just left.

My mom and I were spent 3 days in Rome. Without fail, we were here everyday. The staff were friendly. We tried about 9 different dishes through the 3 days. As a Chinese person, I can tell you that the food is delicious. The chef has impressive cooking technique. Would highly recommend the pineapple fried rice.

My family and I were craving Chinese food since we have been eating pasta and pizza for the past three days. Did a search and Zhong Yi was nearby and gave it try.
It was just before noon and we were the first customer. Host let us pick a table and my mom wanted to sit outside but the host said it might rain and we went inside. Good thing we went inside cuz it started pouring.
Ordered the cantonese fried rice, the scallion beef, the stir fried noodle, the stir fried bok choy. The food was super cheap and delicious. My mom was surprised as to how good the food was.
Highly recommend this place from a Chinese perspective.

I can’t decide whether or not to take a star off for the slow and random service. I considered walking out, but eventually someone came to take my order, and my lunch was delicious. I had shrimp dumplings, which were tiny but also had a tiny price, and tofu salsa piccante (ma po tofu).
Did I mention it was delicious, and just enough spice. I would return. I will return.

Came here for dinner with my family on our last day in Rome. It was by far our best meal during our trip! The food was amazing – a nice break from pizza and pasta haha.
The service was great as well 🙂 And definitely our first bill below €100! Very affordable and lovely 🙂 100% recommend

I ordered Pad thai and Beijing duck. Pad thai came whit shrimps and slice of lemon. It was absolutely delicious. Bejing duck was a bit dry but the skin was crispy and sauce was tasty. I paid 16,5€ for my food and half liter of water. Overall 5 stars.☺️
