We are not locals only in the area for the hospital. We stopped here for dinner & enjoyed the food here a lot! The hibachi was very flavorful w fresh veggies. They give you many side choices (fried rice, white rice, noodles). Good yum yum sauce. Got the happy roll (sushi) – made my tummy happy 🙂 got chicken egg rolls and chicken dumplings also very tasty.

Not a late night or last minute spot. I ordered a boba and waited over 15 mins while the few staff members complained to one another on who should make my order. If my husband didn’t want it i would’ve left. Sad because i’m new to the area and maryland as a whole and still learning what spots i will love.

I was so disappointed. I like chicken very much. They are picketing my home now. I paid a quite a bit of money $20 for 1 quite a bit of nothing but “filler” cabbage or leeks, rice, broccoli, 2 slices of sweet potato & “incredibly sparse meats.” Very kind, hardworking staff but Way overpriced. $3.00 for a 12.6-ounce COKE. It seems businesses are following trends and charging you the same, for less. BOO!

I drove past this place ever since they opened and finally got sushi for dinner there on Sunday night. I got a Happy Roll and a Spicy Tuna. Annie (vegetarian) got a Sweet Potato Roll and a Cucumber Avocado. It was ready for pickup on time and tasted amazing! I’m writing this Monday evening after the aforementioned vegetarian suffered some really bad food poisoning. She had to miss work, intense vomiting, slept all day. I’m hoping the restaurant reads these reviews and takes heed, because this was otherwise a positive experience.

It genuinely felt nice here! The food was excellent, the staff were fast, and kind! One complaint though, its a bit cold. I feel bad for the workers that are wearing literal t-shirts!

Check this out: My very first Hibachi Express experience! I did this visit as my standard sushi test for freshness, quality, value & depth of savoriness (umami). For less than $20, Hibachi Express gets my 10/10 rating for their sushi, a rating which I RARELY dole out, even to more expensive establishments! Fantastic presentation for a combo to-go / sit-down place (limited table seating + 2 x 4-top booths). Very highly safe food handling. Everything FRESHLY prepared, so one does not mind waiting for an order. Was going to eat BOTH Volcano Rolls this visit; however, decided to take the 2nd one back home nearby to my husband, another sushi aficionado. Really like having the unlimited beverage fountain here! Super clean restrooms available at the back. Do not forget to ask for a loyalty card which affords a $5 discount for every 100 points earned. Cindy is absolutely cute & wonderful for customer service! And ask her to tell you the story of the day an SUV crashed into the front of the restaurant ONLY A FEW DAYS AFTER they opened for business! Ironically, it is that very incident which finally enticed me to try this place. So glad I did!
