I ordered the Cheddar Bacon burger with sweet potato fries which had a Cajun Aioli sauce. The burger was very good and the flavor was obvious in the patty. I loved the fries but was not a fan of the sauce. I had a soft drink as my beverage. It came to a little over $24 with the tax included. I had church service that evening so it wasn’t too heavy and I wasn’t stuffed but not hungry 2 hours later either. The owner told me about other locations opening up in the valley. It is Chicago inspired and the atmosphere was chill for a Sunday afternoon. I would definitely recommend if you happen to be on Roosevelt Row Downtown. Going to try the Scottsdale location this year to compare. Until then, happy burger eating!!!

Definitely a great burger spot. I got the jalapeño popper burger, cream cheese, slices Jalapeños, fried onion strings on a brioche bun. Fries were fresh and had great flavor, tasted like they were fried in beef talon but not 100%. Definitely will go back and check out their other menu items.

Went with my fiancé tonight for dinner and the food was phenomenal! The sweet potato fries with chipotle aioli were delicious, as was the Chi Town Burger. The service was attentive. It’s a cool space, will definitely be back.

So I got the smashed avocado fried chicken sandwich 100/10 , never have I ever reheated my leftovers from a place and it taste just as bomb as it was freshly served ! I pride myself in being a good cook but this place has made me critique my own skills lol the flavoring , the ranch and great service . I highly recommend either location to anyone . My taste buds are craving that delicious food rn !

The food was great (the gangster fries were a favorite) but the customer service was even better. The two gentlemen working while we were in went above and beyond and that’s hard to come by these days. We aren’t from AZ but will definitely be back the next time we are in town.

This place is known for French fries i think, but the crinkle cut fries i was served were limp, undercooked and underwhelming. The smashed avocado chicken sandwich was a bit better, but nothing special either.

I got the Honey Hot Crispy Chicken Sandwich and let me tell you, this thing was massive. Like, face-sized. Super crispy chicken, fluffy brioche bun, crunchy slaw—10/10 perfection.

But the surprise hit? The chicken quesadilla. I expected basic, but it was packed with flavor—like the tortilla was dipped in consommé or something. First bite had me doing a double take.

We also grabbed sides: the Gangster Fries (loaded with cheese, bacon, and ranch) and the Gyro Fries (wildly good). Huge portions—definitely come hungry or plan on boxing it up.

Trying to eat light? They do have salads, but let’s be real—this is a spot where you go all in.

And dessert? Next level. We tried the Oreo churro stuffed with cream (yes, stuffed) and the funnel cake fries. Crispy, sugary, and magical. Easily the perfect ending.

If you’re into bold flavors, big portions, and indulgent comfort food, Culinary Gangster is a must.
