Hands Down the Best Hibachi Around
We dined in at Hibachi 88 in Cary and ordered the three-combo plate—everything was fresh, tender, and full of flavor. You could truly taste the quality in every bite. I live in downtown Raleigh and have tried plenty of spots closer to home, but this one stands out by far. It’s worth the drive and then some. Generous portions, quick and friendly service, and hands down the best hibachi I’ve had in the area. And the price point…amazing. Highly recommend!

I went to The Fresh Market to shopping today and saw that they were open. So I went to try the food and ordered their hibachi chicken shrimp and steak. The food was delicious, especially their white sauce. The service was great and the decoration was beautiful. I will definitely come here often.

They need a new receptionist THIS ONE was more concerned about her phone than placing the proper order. I requested NO ONIONS because I am allergic, she put ONLY onions so when I got back to my job that’s all that was in there, so I wasn’t able to eat it. ANOTHER guest came in while I was waiting on my food stating she got shrimp and she’s allergic!! I’d recommend you take a ride and go the one out at Mills Pond MUCH better than this one. 🙁

I really wanted to like this place. I ordered, got, steak fried rice. The amount of steak in the dinner was appalling, wouldn’t even be enough to feed a young child. To add insult to injury, the steak was so tough it was like chewing leather.

The food is reallyy good and fairly priced but on a Monday afternoon, they couldn’t handle a very small lunch rush of 10 people and told me ten minutes and I called ahead early for pickup and still ended up waiting almost 30 minutes so my entire lunch break was wasted waiting and I spent extra money on an extra order of vegetables and all they did was add a bunch of onions to my plate instead of real vegetables

Went today for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I have struggled to find a good hibachi spot near my job but this one was pretty good for my first visit, and I will be back. It was very clean, simple and straightforward ordering, took about 10 minutes for my food and the lady at the register was very kind and friendly. Thank you!!!!

I really hate to leave a negative review, but I feel like it’s important to be honest here. I was excited to try this place based on all the positive feedback, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t match the reviews. The food didn’t taste fresh and just wasn’t good overall. I don’t usually leave reviews, so it took a lot for me to post this — but I think others deserve to know.
Maybe it was just an off night, but sadly, we ended up throwing the food out and going to bed hungry. I truly hope this was a rare occurrence, but I can’t recommend ordering from here based on our experience.
