I recently dined at Hi Pot and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. The restaurant offers a wide range of choices for hotpot, with a great selection of meats, vegetables, and other ingredients. I appreciated the variety of options, which allowed me to create a customized meal that was perfect for my taste preferences.

Pretty tasty drypot but a little oily. The free lunch iced tea is a bit sweet but goes well when diluted with the water. Good service!

I really love both the drypot and hotpot here! My sister and I both don’t really like mala flavor specifically so we got non spicy for both and it was still super flavorful. Plus it made it easy to drink the hot pot soup which had a garlicy creamy bone broth flavor that was super rich and tasty. I got the pork drypot and added a bunch of stuff like fish fillet (recommend), taro, fish balls with roe, and mushrooms. I don’t regret adding any of these extras and I had a good amount of leftovers. I really liked the pork belly. For appetizers we got the stinky tofu which was tasty and the garlic taiwanese sausage which is a classic that I always love. The sauce was good with the stinky tofu as well. Overall I’d definitely come multiple times and I highly recommend it!

There aren’t too many places to get dry pot around here — this is a solid offering. We definitely prefer the dry pot to the hot pot here. Portions are pretty generous, and I find medium spiciness to be a good level. I definitely recommend ordering white rice alongside the dry pot so that it’s not too overwhelming.

Talk about being surprised in a good way. I was planning to try another restaurant but ended up here instead. I came here during soft opening years ago and I wrote this restaurant off because at that time the food didn’t taste good and most importantly there weren’t enough frogs in the frog pot to warrant the price. I’m not sure whether they got their act together afterwards or they changed ownership/chef but the food improved dramatically. Not only is the food great tasting but also even the individual pots have enough stuff. I love the flavors. One reason the food tastes so good is because they lightly fried the food before cooking them in the pot so the flavors are baked in. It’s a popular restaurant so they are definitely short staffed but be patient and the server will get to you. They also don’t allow you to overextend your stay before closing time so if you go close to closing time, be prepared to eat fast. However these are so minor compared to how great the food tastes so I didn’t deduct any stars off. Overall the best dry pot place in the bay area.

We had order spicy soup with self choose ingredients and fried ingredients with really strong flavors. Both tasted ok for me and lunch time would serve a cup of green tea which was fantastic! The flavor was quite strong thus not my type. But it’s very popular during the weekend, I would like to go again in winter.

Went on a Saturday, during lunch time had ~5-10mins wait to be seated and 20-30mins for the food to be served.

I’ve been trying to find a dry pot restaurant in the Bay Area after having Mala Project in New York and this did not disappoint. The flavors were great and everything was tasty. Definitely come during lunch to get a bowl of rice and tea on the house. We ordered a large for 2 people and it was extremely filling. I’ll be back!
