First time there and we really enjoyed it. Waitress was super sweet and attentive. Food was good. I had a cheese omelet, dad had western and bf had steak and eggs. It’s really 4.5 stars, but of course it won’t let me give that. Hot coffee and quick service. Prices were good, too. There’s a cute little shop to buy souvenirs on the way out. Definitely would go back.

We stopped in on vacation, and we chose Henry’s because of the good pricing on the seafood!! My boyfriend got a fried seafood platter with green beans and slaw, and I got the trout with mashed potatoes + gravy and fried okra. We also got the potato skins as an appetizer. Tiffany was our server, and from the start she was phenomenal!! Kind, attentive, and quick with what we needed, she was awesome. The appetizer came out first and was delicious, and the food came out pretty shortly after. The food was good, but not great. We both got something fried, and while the taste was there, it was nothing to write home about. The breading tasted good but was not crunchy at all, leading me to wonder if it hadn’t sat a little. Most of it needed salt. The hushpuppies were some of the best I’ve had though, and the sides were all really good!! Unfortunately for what I spent after tip and tax I wouldn’t do it again.

This place was so awesome for breakfast that we ended up coming back for dinner on the same day! I’m so happy we picked this place to eat during our weekend getaway. We couldn’t stop saying how delicious everything was! Our servers were also great and so kind and attentive to our needs. The bathrooms were clean. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and full of happy people with full bellies! My son ordered the Mozzarella Cheese Sticks both times because we loved them so much! They also have a cute gift shop at the checkout that had tons of goodies! Go check them out!

Very homely old-school restaurant, with a yesteryear vibe. Lovely! The food is good. If you get a seafood platter you have to take the crab cake. Delish! The wings are good, but the buffalo sauce turned out be more like bbq sauce. The she crab bisque is really .

Uff where do I begin. Our “greeter” had on a face that she would rather be anywhere but there. Welcome would have been nice. All was going swell and by swell I mean we got our drinks, until our food came. Soft shell crab sandwich was okay, the soggy cold fries that came with it was not. The seafood “platter” was a seafood plate with seven small scallops, a fish not cooked all the way through (see pic) lukewarm and glistening raw fish inside, I did NOT order sushi. The hush puppies not cooked all the way through as well both of them (come on? Cornmeal could not be any cheaper). I mentioned the hush puppies to the waitress (green shirt shoulder length hair in her early 40s), and she brought back four hush puppies in a bowl hot on the outside mushy uncooked in the middle. A pork bbq instead of being pulled or chopped was in chunks, with the same soggy fries. We tried to hail our waitress and she was behind a little booth near the hostess table chatting away. Seriously would not recommend this place.

Went to breakfast at Henry’s this morning. I ordered the Western omelet with home fries and hotcakes. The home fries and hotcakes were good. Used the room temp syrup from the table but would like warm or hot syrup. The omelet was good but had too many onions compared to ham, green pepper, and tomato ratio. Great atmosphere and service!

I’m really glad we tried Henry’s even though my wife and I aren’t into seafood. The menu is huge, place is clean, staff is friendly, and the vibe is uniquely vintage coastal. They have a small gift shop too. The chicken sandwiches were excellent (fried and grilled) so we’ll definitely be back for dinner soon!
