After some shopping in the Steam Town Mall in Scranton Pa we decided to get some food here. We were pleasantly suprised of the quality and taiste of some excently prepaired Brisket that melted in our mouths. We also tried some great chicken cheese steaks and a ceasors salad. The fried fish was very good which was lightly battered to perfection. We met with Toby, one of the owners who was very welcoming and enjoyable to talk with. He really cares about quality and customer service. We need to come back for the Jerk Chicken where they get some of the ingredients from Jamaica!. We also need to try the macaroni and cheese which we heard is amazing. We will be back.

A pleasant surprise of Caribbean flavors served with care and dedication to hospitality. Felt like we were welcomed into the family table with the level of service provided at Betty’s Bar & Grill. We ordered perfectly fried and seasoned chicken with Mac and Cheese, the Po’boy shrimp sandwich in a pretzel bun, the jerk salmon with collard green and candied yams, brown stewed chicken and 2 drink specials – Purple Rain and Strawberry Blast which were equally exquisite. In addition, my youngest enjoyed her crispy chicken fingers and fries. We can’t wait to return to try even more menu items.

We stopped here on our way through town. The food here was amazing and beyond the quality that I expected. The chef is from Jamaica and the owner is super kind and truly cares about his food. I had the best cabbage I’ve ever had. The restaurant is in a mall food court and it’s 100% worth it.

Food and service was some of the worst I have ever had. Our waitress could not remember anything we told her and asked for our drink order which was just two waters three times. The owner and some lady at the bar kept asking us how the food was and we tried to be nice and said it was ok but it was some of the worst tasting food I have ever had. The chicken teriyaki was bland and tasted super artificial and the fish and chips was about 80% dry fish skin and 20% fish. I am amazed this place has good reviews

I had the pulled pork Mac and cheese and it was phenomenal!!!! The cheese was creamy and rich and the noodles were cooked perfectly! The bbq pork was tender and juicy with the perfect amount of sweet to tangy ratio! I definitely recommend getting this! The service was amazing, the staff were very attentive and the atmosphere is a home style feel type bar beautiful wood detailing and hanging wine bottles decked the back wall of the bar. All around excellent service, and definitely a must if you’re in the Downtown Scranton area!! Iwill definitely be coming back, very soon!!!

First time here and WOW what an experience! The owners are such wonderful people, the wine is one of PA’s finest & the food is spot on! We had the Greek Salad with Gyro meat & a Shrimp Po boy. Wine selection was Cabernet Sauvignon & Berry Sangria. We will absolutely be returning!

Came here for lunch with my husband, in laws and 1.5 year old son. We ordered two burgers, two chicken finger meals with fries and a chicken nuggets (free kids meal). It took an hour for any food to come out, one burger came out 15 mins before the two chicken finger meals came out, then 10mins later another burger came out.
My son’s chicken nuggets were hard as a rock I couldn’t even tear them for him to eat and they were ice cold in the middle. Complained and they offered to remake them but I didn’t want to wait another hour for it.
While we were waiting for our food a woman and her daughter complained about plastic in one of their burgers to the waitress/manager. The waitress/manager responded and said that’s not my problem she won’t yell at me like that and stormed out of the restaurant. This customer was not yelling at all and simply said there’s plastic in her burger.
I feel like I went to visit the circus with all of the clowns that were there.

If you’re planning to visit the #electriccityaquarium , don’t miss Betty’s Bar & Grill in the Scranton mall—it’s the perfect way to finish the day! They are EXTREMELY family friendly with tasty kid-approved menu options. The Philly-style cheesesteak, is hands down the best I’ve had since leaving Philadelphia—juicy, cheesy perfection on a fresh roll. We will certainly be back after our next visit to the aquarium!

Visited the Aquarium today and found this Gem of a place. It’s on the second floor of the mall. Extremely great atmosphere for the kids and the staff and owner was great. The Beef gyro was A+. Mac and Cheese was good. A little bit of wait on the food but definitely worth it. Pricing was fair and I believe under what you would normally pay. Will definitely visit again!
