I love this cafe! I’m not even vegan but I really appreciate how clean and nourishing the food is. The atmosphere of this place is so cozy and welcoming, it feels like a family welcoming me into their home. Instantly made friends and had great conversations hanging out in this space while enjoying the yummy food. They make the best smoothie I’ve had on island! Great affordable prices too.

The owner is super friendly and we have loved everything that we’ve tried here, including two different kinds of soup, various smoothie “beach bowls” (the açaí bowls are filling and healthful!) and the pizza made with homemade bread and sauce! We would definitely recommend this shop to vegans and non-vegans alike.

We found this hidden gem by accident! The quinoa based vegan soup and tortilla sandwich were amazing, but more satisfying was the interaction with the family while we were waiting for our food to be ready! We would highly recommend visiting this place if you are in the area.

Hempy’s is THE place to go if you are Vegan or not. The shakes, pies, soups, sandwiches, salads, etc are fresh and delicious!! Everything is made daily and served with a smile by the owners. The cafe is adorable and comfortable to hang out and relax in. I highly recommend Hempy’s to anyone looking for a great meal on Maui!!!

Got The Nathan and Papaya Goji smoothies, both were refreshing and hit the spot. We also sampled her vegetable soup and nut pie. While the nut pie was really good (excellent crust), the soup was the standout – so delicious and packed with flavor! This place has a really welcoming, cozy vibe. Recommended!
