Got the burger along with wings and sides. Burger is juicy and full of flavor, however, i didn’t like the meat quality. There were a lots of meat cartilage inside the patty. Beans and mexican corn are out of can, really lacking the flavor. If you are a beer lover, you gonna like the brewery and the vibe. I can imagine that after couple beers the burger would be 5 star menu item.

Probably as close you will get to Texas BBQ in the city. Located inside whiner brewery. Tried the queso with brisket, which was bomb, and the wings with the mustard sauce. The wings had a nice crunch ev n though they are smoked. Only downside is they do not sell any of the meats by the pound and everything is on a sandwich.

Wings and beans for myself. The smoked flavor under the sauce complements the wings perfectly. The mustang bbq is savory, while the coffee bbq is a bit more subtle with a bit of sweetness. The BBQ smoked beans have a mild heat and makes a delightful combination to this evenings pick. I can’t really comment on the kale salad in the picture, as I did not partake eating any.

They finally got their own little spot that you can visit them in regularly…and boy, do we visit regularly. The bar they are located in is a nice environment to enjoy the best bbq in Chicago. I never have photos because I scarf it down like a savage before I can remember. The brisket and anything with brisket in it, is always my favorite. (I have shamelessly ordered the Brisket burger 2-3 times in the same weekend). Ribs are also bangers, and the sides (especially the esquite) are fantastic. You can’t go wrong with anything you order, and the owners are just the greatest humans on earth. My mother comes from Wisconsin just to have whatever they have on the menu. Must try spot in Chicago.

Some of the best Texas style BBQ that you’ll find in the city. You can tell that much time and care goes into their food. Everything from their Ribs, smoked lamb, wings, burgers, and brisket have been mouthwatering treats. It’s definitely worth the trip to the south side! You will not be disappointed! Foodgasm!

I was a little torn about posting a review because I selfishly want this gem to remain hidden… But these folks are too good to keep under wraps forever. I particularly liked the ribs I had last week–they had the kind of satisfying bite that shows SKILL–but the burgers are great too. And don’t sleep on the sides; I’ve enjoyed both the slaw and the kale salad. We’ll have to try the chicken wings next because it is guaranteed that we’ll be back to this beautiful and friendly space.

Visited mid July and ordered a burger plus six wings, both were good. Went back 2 weeks later and they only had brisket nachos and couple other items. Went today 08/24 and the place is having a private event. Disorganized, it’s frustrating when there’s poor communication and I can’t get a simple burger.

I have had the privilege to try just about everything from their menu. The flavors exceed my taste buds’ expectations. From the juicy smoked brisket burger , the pulled pork, and a nice healthy flavorful balance of a kale salad, Mexican slaw (or all the sides actually). All the desserts have been beyond scrumptious– I still think about the chocolate sheet cake. 10/10 highly recommended

We’ve already been a couple of times and have tried a lot of the menu. The ribs are excellent and I love the wings (the two different sauces are each unique and I can’t decide which is my favorite). Also, the sides are tasty, I recommend both slaw choices. Definitely worth the trip! Looking forward to trying the lamb special one of these days.

Heffer BBQ is Out Of this World! Coffee BBQ Wings will knock your dk in the dirt. They have the Juiciest Burgers, Loaded Pull Pork Sanwiches and don’t forget the sides! Wash it down when a craft beer, than finish the meal with delicious homemade dessert! 10/10 Every Time!
