We get our take out Chinese food here often but I’ve never left a review. We went in last night for a sit down dinner. Food was amazing! Piping hot & fresh! Our waitress was right on top of everything. Drinks were refilled almost immediately. Food came out fast and it was delicious. We ordered a good amount of food for a party of eight, it was affordable and absolutely delicious.

This is a sad review for me as I grew up loving this place, was the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. For the most part the foods still good but they made some changes for example their lo mein. I ordered the lo mein based off of two things, one is my previous experience and two was the image in the menu next to the lo mein. Now I’ve ordered lo mein almost every time I’ve had Chinese in different states and countries and all have come the same but when these arrived they were flat slimy noodles that tasted nothing like what they should. I brought this to the waitresses attention and was told I’m wrong, then talked with the manager and was told that they changed their noodles a few years ago and never updated the menu images. I explained these don’t taste or look like any lo mein I’ve ever had but they wouldn’t offer a refund and we didn’t eat them as they tasted awful.
The rest of the food was good though especially their chicken wings and crab rangoon.

Standard Chinese food. They still have pupu platters with “the flame” which my kids find fun. The lady that served up was super nice and very attentive (albeit the restaurant was empty at the time). Atmosphere was meh. Very average Chinese restaurant.

Some of the BEST Asian cuisine I’ve had in a really long time. We got the “Big Chow” and “Treasure Island” so we could both try each of them. While the ingredients on the page were similar, the sauces were completely different. Both were amazing, I can’t say which I liked better. Both have a rich, succulent depth of flavor, with plenty of meat (no skimping there), and loads of veggies. There was no rice served with either meal, but that was fine. We didn’t miss it at all. We skipped the appetizer, too. He did have the scorpion bowl for 1, said it had good flavor, and was exactly what he expected in regards to plenty of spirits… lol.
We will definitely be putting this on our regular rotation list, not only for the food quality (which is reason enough) but also for the price. We were very pleased with everything about our trip to Hawaiian Isle. A definite must if you’re looking for great Asian cuisine.

Enjoyed our second visit under the new ownership. Ordered a Pupu platter for 2, side of beef fried rice, crab rangoons and extra order of chicken fingers to go. The beef teriyaki and boneless spare ribs were extremely tender, the chicken wings perfectly crispy and salty and the fingers were slightly crunchy on the outside while very tender on the inside. The rice was very fresh and flavorful while the crab rangoons were crispy and full. Overall we enjoyed our visit however we found ourselves missing the complimentary bread and waters that used to be delivered to the table upon arrival. We drive an hour to visit and all agree (including our kids) that it is well worth the trip.

Haven’t tried Hawaiian Isle since they almost (?) closed .. way better than before! Food was excellent! Orders were delivered hot and portions were larger than other restaurants .. highly recommend!

Decided to go to this place for dinner last night and it was absolutely disgusting. Have been a couple of times before and it was pretty good, but last night was a total waste of money and we left hungry!
I had an appetizer combo plate with chicken fingers which were so hard they were un edible. The breading fell right off and I was stuck with a hard piece of rubber chicken. The chicken teriyaki was disgusting. Bit into it, and it was also like rubber shaped in the shape of a cat leg and had a gray undercooked color to it. The egg roll was black inside not sure why , but I had to eat it since it was the only thing that was somewhat edible. In cases like this, the rice is usually what you fill up on, but even that was gross. It had a taste like it had been lit on fire in a scorpion bowl 151 Center. Almost Like a burnt fire taste. Also un edible.
I had a frozen piña colada, which had huge chunks of ice in it which I couldn’t even drink with a straw. Had a nice taste to it, and I added a Myers rum float on it. The drink ended up being $17. My friend had mushroom beef and he said it was like bubblegum texture. Also inedible tough meat. I asked the server to replace my chicken teriyaki with beef teriyaki, (and she suddenly didn’t understand English, but did replace with beef teriyaki. and that was just as chewy and tough. I would give this zero stars if I could. Addressed everything with our server and she just kind of smiled and laughed a little bit but didn’t offer to take anything off of the bill which was $100 for two meals and two drinks each. I will never go back to this place as it was completely disgusting, and they didn’t do anything for us when we gave them the feedback. Gross. Since there are no good Chinese food restaurants left in the area. I am going to now stop eating Chinese altogether. Too bad. I miss Grand China in Salem NH. I’ve yet to find anything like it since they closed.

I have been looking for a place that does the thick, opaque brown gravy on Egg Foo Yung for literally YEARS and finally found it here! Everything else I ordered was good too.
I ordered takeout so I can’t comment much on the service or atmosphere except that the gentleman who handed me my bag of food was friendly and the food was both ready when I arrived to pick it up and still warm.

I ordered online and it said it should arrive within 30 minutes. After over 30 minutes I received an email that there was an error and they had tried to contact me so I called the restaurant. I called and someone picked up then I was immediately placed on hold; after they picked up again I had to restate my problem and the guy ushered off what I said and said the food was being picked up and would be delivered soon. Food came very quickly but it was very bland and overall just bad. The online experience and phone experience was okay but food was just very bad and did not live up to the reviews at all.

Another horrible restaurant, sesame chicken had splinters and small chunks of bone in it. Had a greasy taste of BBQ steak to it. Some day I’ll find a restaurant that knows and care about how their food is cooked and served.
