Great treats for a hot, even cold, day.
This year, they’ve changed their serving container. It’s now a bowl. This makes it easier to eat, but probably harder to avoid the mess with small kids. A small is huge serving, so order accordingly.
They have several sugar-free options. I’ve tried sugar-free grape. It had an odd aftertaste.
The staff are friendly and fairly quick. Since each serving is custom-made, don’t expect everything to come out all at once. If you have small kids with patience issues, ask for the staff to make them in a specific order.
Overall, this is my go-to shave ice.

Our kids (and adults ;)) love this place! Get the ice cream at the bottom with the cream and coconut on top! Also, follow them on Facebook to see when they have “fill any cup day” which is always a huge hit for my family. Our go-to summer spot.

This is the best shave ice ever!! i come to kansas city every year and i always get the shave ice! it comes in a variety of flavors and some flavors i didn’t even know existed . The ice is made so it tastes just like snow and they put just the right amount of flavor on each shave ice. The cost for a shave ice isn’t expensive at all, like other places. To add on, you can even get many flavors at once. Also, the service is amazing, they are so nice and helpful. I totally would recommend that you come down and try a shave ice at Hawaiian Ice

Hawaiian Ice is without a question the best shaved ice I’ve ever had! The flavors were divine and the ice was as soft as can be. Overall my shaved ice was fabulous and the service was exquisite. I would definitely recommend Hawaiian Ice!
