The rating of 3 stars comes from the drink selection and friendly service. To be a steakhouse, the food leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered honey truffle fries and the presentation was surprisingly bad, they were piping hot, grossly white and limp: undercooked. I also ordered what I recall being rigatoni pasta but it tasted more like bland soup, having very little flavor. My friend ordered – I think – Maryland crab cakes which looked good but the serving was small. I was going to my pasta back but I didn’t see a good alternative to choose from on the menu, so I finished my drink which was the only good part and we left to get food, elsewhere.

What a lovely (early) dinner.. it’s our 4th visit and We absolutely love this neighborhood resto. We had few shareable dishes: The chimmicurri shrimp, the sorrel beet salad and the super yummy mac & cheese. The Artisan pizza was light and delicious. And of course.. the peanut butter pie was a perfect ending to a delicious dinner. happy holiday.. kiss, Olan

We came here for dinner last night and were mostly happy with the experience. The staff were all friendly and our server in particular (Petro) was great – very attentive, explained items on the menu, and interjected appropriately with pleasant conversation. When we were initially sat the host/manager offered a window table because they weren’t that busy which I always think is a nice touch.

Best espresso martini I’ve had in ages. Their crab Mac& cheese + nachos were both amazing. Great happy hour prices and the bartender / server we had provided excellent service. Thank you!

This place definitely gives a high end steak house vibes. The menu and the prices at least screams of that. The food was good. Not overwhelming and for the price ii guess you xan expect overwhelming, right? We had the NY strip and Prime rib and they were good. I usually get medium and for that temp the meat felt a little overcooked. The truffled mashed potatoes were outstanding.

A charming farm to table style steakhouse on Capital Hill. The steaks are mostly dry aged and prime choice meats only. They offer a 49 oz Tomahawk, which was amazing.

We came on steak night. They have dry aged steaks, which I recommend. They have different options for steak topping and sauces as well.

Great pizza and apps. Okay drinks. Overpriced steak, which we skipped. $70 for a ribeye seems a bit much.

Amazing addition to Eastern Market Capitol Hill. Dry aged steaks, craft cocktails, great seafood and the most amazing Smith Island Cake for desert. Harvest Tide has great service, wonderful food and service. We will be back.

Nice place. Needs to have a better way to manage patronage and seating. Maybe it’s fire code stuff, dunno. But the actual place is really nice. Parking seems like it could be tricky, but I didn’t have any problems when I went.
