A few months ago I decided to try an early dinner at Harrison’s Landing and I’m over-the-top incredibly glad I did. It was just after 6 pm and the weather happened to be fantastic so I sat outside. I was dining on a Friday evening & they had offered a $6.50 top-shelf Margarita so that’s what I ordered. I also ordered the shrimp salad but unfortunately it was tiny & I had skipped lunch that day I was hungrier than normal so I decided to order the Caribbean salad + shrimp as well and oh my lanta! That was incredibly decadent! Fortunately for me, it was my birthday so dining with a gift card was wonderful. My server was Monty & he was so charming. The entire experience was memorable. I’ll definitely return. The ambiance was Zen & lovely the vibe was inviting. Parking was a breeze. I highly recommend this venue.

The atmosphere here was spot on. Part of the marina. I really enjoyed the fried shrimp and my server was amazing. The only downside was my taquitos. They had great flavor but were cold in the middle. Like refrigerator cold. The server offered to replace them but I had eaten about half of them despite the temperature issue because the flavor was amazing so I didn’t feel right about getting a new order. Just enough to keep from a 5 star rating, but everything else was great!

Good food & cool atmosphere. The fans and breezes made the patio tolerable even in the midday sun and I’m a “big guy”.coconut shrimp were crispy but the shrimp were still cooked perfect. She had the fish and chips. The only thing that would have made this place better would be live music.

The food here is fantastic. First time here and I gotta admit even sitting outside they have fans so that way it is tolerable and the atmosphere here looking at the water while you eat is the best. Our waiter is attentive. Everybody should come here at least once and enjoy eating on the water.

This was a pretty cool place. We actually ate on the water and you could feel it move the whole time. I had the server suprise me with a fish and it was really good, the unicorn fish. Slightly over cooked, but the sauce was awesome. Everyone was pretty happy with their food. Looking forward to going back and getting surprised again on a new meal!

Honestly a great stop on the way to Port Aransas! Good seafood and happy hour!
Michelle was our waitress and today was her first day, but she did an incredible job!
The restaurant is floating on the water in the bay and you are surrounded on 2.5 sides.

This is a great spot and the service is great. We had some delicious drinks and the blackened chicken sandwich was delicious. The menu is mostly seafood but they have burgers and salads also. The vibe is amazing and the reason we eat here. You are right on the water.

My experience is not related to the restaurant.
It is related to the bay cruises they offer.
Yesterday, January 8, 2026 I took a 50 min. boat tour of the Corpus Christi Bay.
I was in God’s favor as it turned out to be a “private” tour because I was the only tourist going for it.
I had the pleasure to meet Captain Jim Cook and his crew who were very polite but friendly, welcoming questions and discussions about the place and sailing. I was in very good hands even if the water was a little choppy. Captain Cook is very knowledgeable and the detailed presentation of the sights were quite a learning experience. Yes, one can read about Corpus Christi if having the curiosity, but when the description is live with everything in your eyes, things and places also become aliveadding valur to the adventure.
I have anjoyed every minute of it, and I’ll definitely have a repeat when I go back to this rich historical place called Corpus Christi. It might seem sort of outdated at a superficial look, but it’s vibrant underneath its appearance: places, people, culture, sea, birds, marine life. Due to this tour on Captain Cook’s Japonica, I discovered deeper values of Corpus Christi.
Thank you all that made this possible.
For more details, Google Harrison’s Landing or Vat Cruises aboard Japonica and you’ll find lots of info.
The ticket for an adult is just $24, well worth spending.
I wholehearted 5 stars for the people, the tour, the experience.
Ahoy!
