Today 2/13 12::15pm was my first time trying Harold’s Chicken and it exceeded my expectations! The host at the register was so warm and attentive , I had no clue I needed the pepper seasoning. She recommended I try it. I love Her for that! The food was hot, fresh, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely divine. It’s rare to get amazing service and amazing food at the same time, but they nailed it. Highly recommend!!!

The fried chicken and fish were exceptionally prepared. Given the closure of the Simmons location, we anticipate the establishment of a new location on the north side of Las Vegas. The fries were well-seasoned and of high quality. The restaurant provides an excellent atmosphere for families to enjoy meals and connect. Harold’s is highly recommended to both local residents and visitors seeking outstanding fried chicken, shrimp, and fish. The only area for improvement is the tartar sauce, which was pre-packaged rather than homemade. To complement the quality of the fish, a homemade tartar sauce would be a valuable enhancement.

This was my first time eating here and everything was soooo good! I had the catfish, shrimp, and wings. Fried perfectly and crispy. Yes, you do have to wait a little while because they make everything to order but it is worth it! The service was great too because the nice lady taking my order kept it real and told me what she recommended and I was not disappointed. I will definitely be coming back!

The quality of the food at this restaurant went downhill severely. Started out strong but continues to decline. As a Chicago native I’m highly disappointed. I order wings and receive big drumettes only. I hate big chicken.Few times I’ve gone and they’re out of mild sauce.. worse thing to do is order it on uber eats or DoorDash. I really hope they take the time to improve these this.

My experience at this location was disappointing. The customer service was poor, with no greeting upon arrival and very little interaction from the staff. The service felt rushed and strictly transactional. I initially planned to dine in, but after noticing that the tables were dirty, I decided against it. The food itself was just okay and unfortunately did not live up to the reputation and history that Harold’s Chicken Shack is known for.

Delicious!!! It only took about 15mins to receive my freshly made take out order. While waiting I had the opportunity to check out the restaurant which reflects the history of their business, city and family. Being from the Midwest they remind me of home. This was my first trip to this establishment and It will not be my last. I ordered the chicken and fries with sauce on it and I enjoyed every bite of my meal. I can’t wait to return to try different foods on the menu. I do appreciate the freshly made food because we entered at 9:38 and they close at 10pm. Usually some businesses will be upset that people come in before close but they welcomed us with a greeting and still took other orders before closing. Happy I got to spend money with them.

Crunchy bland fish and shrimp with bland fries. Batter was so thick and bready. No seasoning at all on my food. Chicken was drenched in grease. I drove all the way from Summerlin to Henderson to come to a location that said that they were open till 10 o’clock for me to walk in the door at 9:40 and them to tell me that they were closed. When I walked through the door, the young lady walked past me. I went to the counter then she came back to the counter and said we’re closed. I don’t understand for the life of me why you will let me walk in the door and walk up to the register passing by me not saying one word to come back to me and tell me that you’re close. Furthermore, why is it not 10 o’clock when your doors your website and Google says that you close at 10 o’clock and you tell me that you shut down at 9:45 I walked in the door at 9:40. Your fryers were already off and cleaned out Which means that you had to have shut them down way before the time you say that you shut them down I don’t care how much Chicago people rave about this place. The customer service is disgusting. The place smelled bad and the service sucks.

This place sucks. Im from Chicago born and bred. First I waited an hour for my food because the cook forgot to drop it. Once I did get the food. I get home and its awful. The breading on everything was too thick. You could taste that everything was fried in old dirty grease. The cashier continued to lie to me when I would ask about my food. Its coming up shortly ma’am is what she continued to tell me instead of saying there was some confusion with your order and apologize. I worked at a Harold’s in Chicago. And I have never heard of a Harold’s where you can’t place a phone order. This place is awful. This was my 1st visit and I will never return. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE

Waited for almost a half an hour for the chicken. The employees seemed to be more interested with talking with each other and singing music. I figured that the smell of the restaurant would be indicative of some really good chicken….. BOY WAS I WRONG!!!! I have a couple of pictures for your viewing pleasure. Notice how the crispy part looks?the chicken was not meaty at all. It was dry and overall not worth the wait… the only thing good that came out of the visit was the hot sauce…. If I could give it a .5 ⭐️ I would.
