I stopped at the travel plaza on a recent trip because it offered good restrooms, a Starbucks, and a variety of food options. I decided to give Hardee’s a try and ordered their Super Star Sandwich for pickup. The sandwich was decent, although it came with a steep price tag of $7+.
One notable aspect was that the plaza wasn’t crowded at all—there were no lines, and I was the only one there, which made for a quiet and hassle-free experience. However, the patios were closed, limiting seating options. On the bright side, parking is spacious and convenient, and the plaza also features a gas station.
Overall, if you’re looking for a quick meal with good food at Hardee’s, be prepared for high prices and mixed experiences with the other options available at the plaza.

Stopped at the Hardee’s in the gas stop off the interstate. Food was disgusting, ice cold. When we went up to complain the “manager ” quickly went back and hid while we told the kid how disgusting it was. Neither one of us took more then a few bits. $32 for 2 sodas I guess. Nothing was done to make it better either, he just he didn’t make it!

Food was pretty good when fresh, fries were meh. I ordered two Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwiches. One of them came super fresh and the other one seemed like it was sitting for a long time. One of the guys who was bagging the order said i literally saw it coming out of the fryer you’re a liar. And then started laughing about it making it such a hostile environment. I heard them making comments in the kitchen too “gotta be fresh and hot, make sure it’s piping hot dripping oil hahahaha”. This was my first and definitely the last time trying Hardee’s. Horrible experience. I’ve attached the photo of the guy being extremely rude – feel free to call out this guy when visiting and let him know how terrible of a job he does.

Located on the Ohio turnpike in one of the service plazas. Great location with information center, restrooms and ample parking. It also has electric car chargers including Tesla chargers.

No line for this location and it was soon apparent why! Stood waiting in line for five minutes while three employees stood around doing nothing except talk about when they could take their breaks. I loudly asked for assistance twice, making eye contact with one of the employees. I was ignored. Took that as a sign to leave. It’s unfortunate this is the closest to “real” food at this stop. One employee moved behind another when she saw I was taking a photo.

What a joke. Chicken sandwich was very small and overcooked. They were supposed to call my number so I sat down and 15 minutes later I go up and ask what happened and the bag was sitting there. Never called my number but did apologize.

Make sure if you are going to service the Travel Center you don’t run out of something. To run out of all Chicken is ridiculous. Go next door and get some pizza they didn’t run out. I guess it’s still COVID at Hardee’s

All I wanted was a milkshake…
I drove through hail and rain that came down so hard that it was hard to see the taillights ahead of me. I was very ready for a sweet treat.
This Hardee’s advertises a picture and a sale price for their three flavors of hand scooped milkshakes. I started salivating as I pictured the 710 calories of dairy goodness!
But, this Hardee’s has never had a milkshake machine.
I give them one star: which seems more than generous, considering that I got zero ice cream.

I won’t be coming back to this Hardee’s for breakfast I went in there this morning got up to the front The guy at the register was rude as hell I wanted to get a number one didn’t have it okay I decided to order a burrito they didn’t have those either so I asked him what do you guys have and he got snotty with me and said everything else but those so I said screw it and walked away I would never come back here for breakfast ever again. Horrible experience
