I went here about a month ago while visiting a friend who lives out that way. The bartender was the nicest guy ever and had tons of recommendations of things I should see on our drive back to Medford. And the food was pretty good as well! All around great experience

Went here on 5-7-18. A little dated but the food and service was good. The waitress was friendly and helpful. Nice atmosphere. I got the chicken fettuccine and my husband got the raw oysters. Both were delicious.

The server we had was extremely nice and seemed to have too many tables, she was rushing around a lot. The views from the windows were decent. The inside felt old and out dated, the downstairs was under construction so they could be updating. It took a long time to get our food, and when we got it, it was below par. Everything was over cooked and deep fried. Same with my wife’s meal. This could have been due to it being very busy and them not being staffed right (that was the feel i had). It was over priced for what we got.

First time eating there tonight and we waited over an hour and a half for our food to come out and the restaurant only had a few people. Not busy at all. The waiter guy was very nice and on top of drinks and everything so good job! As for the food very bland and unfortunately we received ours cold. Two star rating and probably not a place I will go back to eat at anytime soon.

We went down for my bday weekend. My birthday strawberry margarita was amazing. Food was on point. Staff was great. Our waiter was absolutely awesome. Definitely will take my family back when we visit crescent city again.

This place provided the WORST dining experience I have ever encountered in my entire life. I have eaten at every type of establishment across the country, from diners to bistros, from fine dining to fast food and have never had a more terrible experience. Food was over priced and very poor quality. Terrible service, dishonest staff, no napkins after several requests, cold clam chowder, and the catch of the day fish was brought to my table raw. This place clearly preys on tourists and has no need for return business as Crescent city is primarily a tourist economy. No self respecting person would ever dine at this restaurant.

Bad, overpriced food. We just finished and are hoping the diarrhea god doesn’t pay us a visit. How these people putting up five stars can do so is beyond me… Burger King or Waffle House would’ve been better. At least their food doesn’t TASTE like it came from a grocery outlet store.

RESTAURANT IMPOSSIBLE TO THE RESCUE!!!! I have frequented the Harbor View Grotto since 1970 or earlier. Something has changed and it is NOT GOOD anymore at all! It is WAY over priced for the quality. I had a seafood plate saute’d it was absolutely flavorless. The chowder had a brown color and is no longer the same chowder that we all loved and looked forward to while in Crescent City.
