We stopped here today bc it was enroute to AC Airport. What a find! No regrets and as we have been to over 80+ different diners,(for fun) this is probably my new favorite. Great food, great portions, fair pricing!
Best of all, it was busy but we had no wait.
Our waitress, Kelly was wonderful! Very kind, very accommodating, and efficient. Never had to ask twice for anything and she was busy.
Our food came out in what seemed like minutes and it was fresh and hot. I had the cheese and feta omelette; my usual; and it was filled with spinach and feta in every bite! My guy had the Harbor omelette with sausage gravy and loved it.(He’s a southerner). Even the toast was perfectly browned on both sides!
Atmosphere of an ol’ fashioned diner, clean, cozy, everyone friendly.
We are going to come back on my return home to try dinner! Can’t wait!

Let me preface this review by saying I don’t often leave reviews I accept that people and places are not going to be perfect and I don’t need to call them out each time something isn’t right. I just simply cannot believe how extremely poorly we were treated by the owner of this diner that I had to post a review. My wife and I have literally been going to this diner two to three times a week for the last 25 years. We have stuck with them through all their ups and down. The food is mostly average and generally a good value but has since gotten expensive and inconsistent. We have have had rare events over the years with plastic, bugs and even saran wrap once in our food and these events were met with apology’s and refunds we let it go and persisted in coming back chalking up to inevitable human error. Recently the food has been inconsistent in the evenings when we go things like burnt or over cooked food, spoiled sides or old deserts or the taste being off on items we frequently get like it was not made the same way or by the same person. I know the cooks have changed in recent years, maybe that’s why, because sometimes it’s really good too. It’s not frequent but when we have a issue we inform the staff of what we experience so they can improve. We have never requested refunds or to take food off the bill and frankly it’s never been offered. We pay for it anyway because it not a big deal and we still come back anyway. This last time some of the food my wife was eating tasted sour and we let the wait know she informed the host who called the owner. We finished our meal and went to the cash register where the host proceeded to tell us she spoke to the owner and that he requested she inform us that we are no longer welcome at the diner because of too many food complaints. She stated if we wished to come back we would have to prepay for our food before sitting down. Why would we be required to prepay for our meals when we always pay for the food whether we like it or not? The whole thing was confusing, shocking, hurtful and upsetting. We thought our business and support for the last 25 years was appreciated but clearly it was not.

I brought my mom and my family in on Saturday it was my mom’s birthday the service was so bad we had Johnathan he came to our table and took our drink order and I put a wing order in at that time lucky I did a group came in after us and the got there order taken before ours and I told him are we getting wings we ordered he totally forgot about them. The he finally took our order after 20min waiting our food came out never got our soup or salads had to get them to go. My mom and I come into diner all the time and if he is on I will leave in morning or afternoon we have Kelly she is really good, if she isn’t on we have hazel

There is only 3 waitresses that are excellent at the dinner Kelly, Sarah and Hazel. I took my mom and family to the diner on Sat. for my moms Birthday we had Johnathon who waited on us I was so upset he took our drink order lucky I ordered wings for my husband which I had to remind him about, because some people he knew came in and they got served before us. We finally ordered our food and had to take our salads and soup home because he never brought it. My mother and I go in there all the time and never got such poor service. If we go in there and we don’t have a good server we will leave.

I went there with my family for breakfast and had a wonderful time. The food was good, especially the veggie omelet because the vegetables were just cooked enough and still had a little bit of crunch to them. We also ordered pancakes, which were great and the food came out pretty quickly. The waitstaff was very friendly and the diner had a homey feel to it. Although it isn’t my favorite diner, my grandparents have been going there for years and love it every time. One plus about this diner is that even though some diners only take cash, at the Harbor Diner they take cards and cash. The diner is very clean and is definitely family oriented. The prices aren’t bad either. I would visit again.

The staff is always very nice here and the food is well-priced. It’s not my favorite diner but I don’t mind traveling there or giving them my money as the food is always consistent and I like the fries they use. Recently had the chocolate peanut butter tart which was quite tasty.
Update: Still a decent diner. Idk if they make their pies in house or if they order from a bakery, either way the desserts are great. I thought the blueberry lemon cheesecake today was good. Fries are still great. Staff is always very nice and attentive.

This American diner is absolutely fantastic! The authentic diner vibe feels straight out of a Hollywood movie, and the wide selection of dishes, along with generous portions, is simply amazing. The staff stands out for their exceptional friendliness, with a special mention to waiter Jonathan, who not only provided impeccable service but also offered additional portions to sample.

Dinner last night was in a NJ Diner ambience with a perfectly cheesy, crispy cooked to perfection crock of French onion soup. For dinner, had the crab imperial which was fresh, full of lump crab meat with steak fries. Asked for my side salad to-go which went great with my leftovers for lunch today. Staff was great, attentive and even did not mind when I interrupted to ask for a to-go container while walking by in a hurry. I did not take pictures as I was too eager to eat.

We found this place on our way back to Philly. Great authentic diner. Huge menu! OPEN LATE. We ordered lunch. It was delicious. Corned beef hash and hash browns so crunchy and yummy. You should stop here if your in the area.
