We stopped here the other day and it was such a highlight to our trip to the area. Our server greeted us with a smile on her face and really made it a wonderful experience.
The food was delicious and most likely, they have the best Crab Rangoon I’ve ever had in Maine, perhaps anywhere.
She even made my Thai iced tea super festive, perfect for the holidays. You can’t see them in the pictures but there are little Christmas trees and candy cane candies in the whipped cream on top.
All in all, it was the perfect lunch and we will be going back.
Happy Thai made a happy Ty.

How we wish we had found this place years ago! We had a splendid dinner at this cute little restaurant. Our meal was generously sized, hot, and delicious! The restaurant was clean, and service was delightful. We had the orange chicken (amazing orange flavor) and Thai fried rice. Both had SUPER flavors. Others must also concur, as there were about 10 pickup orders who arrived while we had our dinner inside.

Literally the best food around Old Town. I have been in line with other saying they drive from Brewer just to eat the food here! The staff is so great. Food is always so so fresh. I really appreciate that when you take out soup to-go the separate the noodles AND bean sprouts from broth so they don’t over cook before you can enjoy it. You can also add veggies too! I’ve tried multiple curry’s as well from here- all so super delicious. Appetizers are a hit every single time too! Thai tea? Delish!

Who would have thought you can find such great Thai in Northern Maine. I am so spoilt with Asian markets, and authentic restaurants around Nashville TN so this was a great find.
They do cook to the demand of the patrons, so Pad Thai might be a little more wet than traditional, but from my conversation with my server, ask for traditional. I did not order the Pad Thai, or Drunken Noodles, as I’m looking for other dishes to try, in fact I very rarely order Pad Thai, but when I’m back heading north in 4 weeks I’m asking for Pad Thai Authentic

This is one of our “go to” spots for authentic Thai cuisine. The restaurant is clean and the staff is friendly. The food is always fresh, made daily and from fresh ingredients! The Massaman curry and actually all their curry dishes are amazing!

My husband and I ate here for the first time this week and we loved the food and service. I had the red curry chicken and it was delicious. We shared the dumplings and those were good, too. I don’t remember what my husband had but he loved it. The service was exceptional. This will be a go to place for us in the future.

We returned back to Happy Thai today. We tried a New Dish Mango Chicken Fried Rice! It’s our New Favorite along with the Veggie Spring Rolls. The Thai Ice Tea is Very Tasty to the Taste Buds and Pretty to the eyes. Highly Suggest if u are looking for Thai Cuisine Happy Thai Is your place!

There’s a reason this little spot has 4.9 stars! We wanted Thai and were nearby, so we gave it a try. We ordered the potstickers as an appetizer, then Thai Fried Rice with Chicken and Rad Na as our entrées. We ordered both at “medium” spice level.
The potstickers were great and didn’t take long to be brought out. Our entrées came out not long after and were hot. They tasted great! There wasn’t a lot of spice. But to our surprise, the chef came out with a little rack of spices and showed us the best one for our dishes. We didn’t ask for that but were so happy he did! It really elevated our dishes and gave it that classic Thai spice.
The woman who served us was very nice and took good care of us. The restaurant was very clean. It is small but cute. The prices were very reasonable, especially given the portion sizes. I am very glad I got to visit Happy Thai, and I encourage you to do the same!
