Ash was fantastic, very attentive. Will definitely come back. Big portions and homemade biscuits and gravy. Sticky biscuits and the bread pudding are yummy!

Absolutely delicious!!! This place seems like a hole in the wall and the best kept secret. The walls are decorated with local artwork for sale and the menu had some surprises, like the smoked salmon avocado toast. We had to wait a little for the food, but it was cooked to perfection.

The cabbage roll special was as good as my mother in law’s sarma! Service was fast & waiter friendly. Thanks to Mike H for taking care of us!

Fantastic service, our waiter was so kind and took great care of us! The food was a great start to the day, the kids loved the French toast, and my breakfast bowl was filling but didn’t leave you feeling dense. The breakfast burrito had beautiful flavors that all mashed well! The art that is for sale around the restaurant is beautiful!

First time here. Wanted a place for breakfast on our way home. This place is a little over a mile off the K-7 highway. Service was fast, breakfast was good, and local artwork on the walls for sale. Our server Mike was very friendly; a lot of locals eat here. And for your first visit you get a free apple dumpling with ice cream! VERY delicious. (We even bought a dumpling to take home for later.)

This place is just the small cafe I was looking for! The service is great and the food is fantastic. They even know their regulars and give you a free apple danish for your first time visit! Since we went early they weren’t ready but they told us to let them know next time! The food was truly great and they even told us that they had a big table so our food may take a minute and it didn’t take long at all. I highly recommend this hiddengem!

We went here for breakfast and everyone enjoyed their food. My youngest said “best pancakes ever 10 out of 10 would recommend.” Oldest kid said “compliments to the chef” for his biscuits and gravy. Our waitress was super sweet too.

We came in around 1 PM on a Wednesday — it was mostly empty, so we had almost the whole place to ourselves!

We had great food — I got the breakfast tacos without tomatoes and loved them — and great service from Mike. Super nice guy, made us feel right at home. He checked on us every 15 or so minutes to make sure we didn’t need anything.

We paid $30 (including tax) for two people. Paying for food that’s a cut above somewhere like Waffle House but roughly the same price, I really think it’s a win-win when you factor in the great service.

This place is definitely a hidden gem, highly recommend checking it out! They have both a breakfast and lunch menu.

We ended up here because the place we intended to eat wasn’t open for breakfast. What a happy accident! The building is small and nondescript from the outside, but inside colorful murals decorate the walls, along with paintings of pets. There is plenty of seating and several large tables for bigger parties. The food and service were excellent. We had a fried chicken biscuit and the breakfast burrito with the homemade chorizo sausage. Everything was delicious. The burrito had a great flavor and was served with two kinds of sauces, a green avocado sauce and a ranchero sauce. The biscuit was flaky and buttery and the fried chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. They also have an extensive cocktail menu with everything from a Bloody Mary to an espresso martini. When we told our server how much we enjoyed everything, she asked if it was our first time there. Since it was, we were treated to a helping of bread pudding. I believe the server said it made from the same type of delicious biscuit that came with the fried chicken; it was also dotted with chocolate chips and sprinkled with powdered sugar and just as delicious as the rest of our food! This place is definitely worth a trip to Bonner Springs!

Another wonderful meal at The Glass Cat! We enjoyed chicken fried steak this time. The portion was generous and the taste was spot on. The food is always amazing, but the local atmosphere is what we like best. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!
