Social Profile:

Hanna’s Middle-Eastern Restaurant is a family-owned restaurant founded in 1989 by John Hanna – a Lebanese immigrant who came to the United States decades prior with a few dollars in his pocket and a dream. What makes the experience at Hanna’s truly special is rooted in the quality of the ingredients and the careful attention put into every recipe. Most dishes are completely made from scratch with the delicate care of a home-cooked meal. Hanna’s offers both a deli where you can order food to-go and buy ingredients as well as a restaurant to dine-in. Oftentimes you will find weekly and seasonal specials that you will be hard-pressed to get anywhere else.

Middle Eastern cuisine, including kebabs, gyros & meze, served amid low-key, traditional decor.

Good food, good vibes. Hanna’s a great warm & friendly restaurant with the owners making sure you’re enjoying the food. Not sure what to get? They’ll be happy to recommend. I ordered the stuffed squash and chicken sharwarma. They were both full of flavor and the sauce from the stuffed squash was amazing. Come experience an authentic Lebanese cuisine and make your taste buds dance.

Fantastic Lebanese food. The people were very nice and it had a nice ambience with Lebanese music and decor. All of the food was authentic and delicious. The hummus was some of the best I’ve ever had. The falafel was nice and crispy on the outside. For entrees we had the baked kibbe and chicken shawarma platter. Both came out piping hot and were delicious. I also loved the garlic sauce. If I didn’t live so far from this place I would definitely be a regular!

Wowwww… this place is BOMB. My partner’s ancestry is Armenian and mine is Lebanese, and we bought about a million things from Hanna’s to take home. Everything was off the hook incredible, and would’ve made our sittos glow with yummy delight. Super warm energy inside with all the staff and other customers alike. Thank you, Hanna’s, for putting so much love into your food and for making our night. We’ll be back!

Really tasty Lebanese food, ordered the sampler for 2 and was served a very generous portion for 3 people. The food was delicious and, Lena our server, was so kind and informative about what to order and how to eat the food. Definitely worth trying if you’re in the Danbury are!

The last time I was at Hanna’s was a year ago and I don’t know why it took me so long to get back. This is the second time I’ve been back to Hanna’s restaurant in less than two days. The atmosphere is very cozy and the food is one of the tastiest I’ve ever tried in my life! Lina our server is the kindest and most caring person in the world! She definitely makes the experience even more enjoyable. I say that Hanna’s is the best Lebanese food restaurant in CT. You won’t regret it.

While on vacation with my children and husband. My husband found this GEM, the food is authentic! They put a lot of pride into their cooking and presentation. We had the hummus, tabouleh, stuffed cabbage leaves, falafel and cheese rolls for appetizers… all was divine. Then for dinner we had the shish tawook, baked kibbeh and the lentils with fried onions and it was delicious!!! Do not pass up the Turkish coffee… I am not usually a fan of rice pudding, but theirs was really good and do not leave without trying their baklava!!! The service was wonderful and so kind and welcoming. We ended up going next door to their deli to buy some food to take home for later. If you have not been to try their food you’re truly missing out. We will be back on our next visit guaranteed!!!

My first time trying Lebanese food, and now I’m in love! Love the smell of the spices, not too overpowering, just right!

This is my favorite restaurant in Danbury. The food is exceptional and served with warmth and pride. The server was delightful and attentive. The owner comes out to check on you. The mouth watering food is from scratch Lebanese. Best hummus I’ve ever tasted! What surprised me and I’m very picky, was how amazing the wines were. We had a white and a Cabernet. Outstanding quality. I will be back!! I loved my dinner and so did my partner.

Completely disappointed with our take out order. We spent $83 on 3 small platters of chicken and rice (nothing else in the plate but maybe a cup of rice and one kabob worth of chicken pieces in each plate- which they priced at $20 a plate) and a a lamb gyro. We got a small salad on the side, as well. The rice was bland and literally left uneaten and the chicken was mediocre at best. The lamb gyro was okay, but not anything to rave about. I can’t believe we spent nearly $100 on this. The staff was kind, but their pricing is way off for the portions and quality of food.
