Our party of 2 stopped in for lunch around 1:00 pm on July 3rd. We were a bit surprised by the number of folks having a late lunch. By the time we placed our order they only had one serving of the daily special which was the most awesome roast beef. It tasted like your grandma made it. I had a hamburger which was surprisingly good.

Good fresh food – was a little pricey but worth it for the pies! Used the drive thru so didn’t see inside. No menu online so ordering was a tad difficult.

Well we were driving down and visiting, figured we try a local spot. The reviews seemed great! They might’ve been old because when we ordered they didn’t have anything. We ordered hash browns and we got these little French fries that were cut into little pieces. Bacon was good, eggs were eggs. No warm syrup, sugar free syrup if that’s your thing. Anyways, maybe I came late because it is 10am on a Sunday. But I would say they need to step it up if I come again. Also it was $15 for me. Waitress was nice

Great down home cooking. Just simple fare, without the frills. Wonderful people. Theresa was so sweet & friendly. Specials each day. Limited menu. Meat loaf was great. Closed Saturday. Will definitely go back. Chicken fried steak Thursday is coming up!

The food was so bad that I went & got my money back after one bite. Who in Texas serves hamburger steak with no gravy, onions or mushrooms? & with pasta salad?

This is for the senior citizens, who like bland unflavored food.

$16 dollars for biscuits and sausage gravy with a side of bacon, 2 over easy eggs that ended up scrambled. I guess one tiny piece of sausage and you can consider it sausage gravy.

Real good food by real good people. The home cooked lunch and warmed up apple pie was divine! Best stop in town, highly recommended, both for value, quality and hospitality.

I love this place! The staff and ownership are true blue local and enjoy taking care of you. The real secret is the frozen prepped dinners! Get the Chicken Enchiladas and Corny corn (serves4 but do it for 2 and keep leftovers)! This is what quality home cooked food is about. Go to the freezer and take a pick. Great for weekenders that are tired of eating out. Great for busy nights .

No menu. Was told they were out of just about everything but the chicken fried steak special, that was real good. I don’t like chicken fried steak but oh well. They gave you plenty of it with macaroni and cheese, French fries , and cucumber salad. The food was barely warm. Had sweet tea to drink. Waitress friendly. Bill came to $27 for two. A bit steep by my estimation.
