Delicious and fast meal with very generous portions! We dined at about 6 pm on a Saturday and the dining room was fairly full, yet food for our group of 9 came out very quick and all of the food was so fresh tasting and flavorful. I had the poblano relleno, which was stuffed with shredded chicken breast and covered in a delicious red sauce. I loved it! The rest of our crew ordered a few shrimp dishes and a few combo platters and everyone seemed to love their food and most everyone finished their plates. We’ll be back the next time we come through the area!

Off the beaten path, passing through Nebraska. Stopped in the town of Minden looking for lunch. El Agave Mexican restaurant did not disappoint. Service was quick and efficient. Portions were plentiful and flavorful. Enjoyed the beautiful scenery and colorful table decor. Best refried beans and the chicken in my chimichanga was tender and moist. Husband said the burrito was outstanding and cleared his plate! All in all it was a delightful experience!

We are frequent flyers at El Agave. The salsa is on point, so are the margaritas! The restaurant itself has some wear and tear but the service is fast and the food is reliably delicious. And reasonably priced.

One of the best tacos asada I have had. Enough steak to make 6 tacos instead of the usual 3. Had to take some home. They are a block off of the town square on a corner. There was only one server for all the tables while we were there, but once our order was placed food came out amazingly fast. Everything tasted fresh and complementary chips were crisp not greasy and salsa was good
