Thanks to server Nolan and bartender Brandon for making my family’s first visit here very enjoyable. The decor is clean and inviting. And all food and drink items we ordered were excellent. The menu currently seems limited, but that may be due to the newness of the establishment. We look forward to much success of this latest venture by Lenny and Jennifer (I also highly recommend Bella Trattoria in Spring City).

PICKLE DAY ANYONE?! Wow, if you love pickles, you have to check out Hangar 5 Bar and Grille in Pottstown! Their specials are a pickle lover’s dream come true, with pickles galore from the menu to the drinks. I can’t deny my love for pickles, and they delivered in every way possible.
Let’s not forget to mention “Big Mo” – he made the experience amazing! His friendly and welcoming demeanor added a special touch to our visit. Hangar 5 is a fantastic spot to stop by on your way through Pottstown. Highly recommend for a fun and unique dining experience!

First time here and we were really impressed. Service was great, place was clean, well light, good temperature. Potato skins appetizer was really good. I got the turkey platter and husband got the meatloaf napoleon. Both were very good. The sides were not very hot but the proteins were. Even the asparagus was cooked perfectly & seasoned very well. I’m happy we tried it & we will return for sure.

This place is AMAZING! The food is absolutely delicious, and the people who work here are all wonderful! Dave who works behind the bar is a phenomenal individual and you will 100% have a wonderful experience here. Make sure you ask for a Christina’s Half & Half if you’re thirsty!

Went there for lunch after they just opened for the day. Had the most amazing food and really enjoyed a chat with bartender Dave and Chef Guy. If you are local please come and support this place!! Food and service were amazing! I had their southern friend chicken, collards, and mac-n-cheese. As a Southern gal, they were as good as I’ve had back home. Hubby had the shrimp stuffed with crab imperial and roasted asparagus. He didn’t have any leftovers to bring home! The menu and Chef are awesome!! Looking forward to going back again with friends!!

Stopped in late last year when it first re-opened and everything was OK, food, beer, service. Stopped back in a couple of weeks ago and have been back twice since. The staff are great people and are very friendly. The menu has been updated and the items I tried have been delicious, the Mac n Cheese with kielbasa, and a special salmon BLT. They have a good beer selection and some drink specials. It’s great to have new places opening in the area, stop in and give them a try. I think you will enjoy eating and/or grabbing a drink at the Hangar 5.

Stopped in for a Sunday evening light dinner. We both had wings and salad, pretty easy fare to serve. The wings were prepared perfectly. Theirs are always well cooked (alot of places over cook them) the salads were fresh good looking greens and other veggies, the dressings were flavorful and fresh. Our server was attentive and friendly. This is definitely an up and coming venue once word gets out about it.

I once frequented this establishment under its old Fairways name. Needless to say, it is a dive bar no longer! The bar has an unusual S shape and features an intelligent mix of craft and domestic beers. The decor is bright and cheerful, accented by the amazing Crystal, who is lead bartender and one of the best in this neck of the woods. And the food! I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and it was perfect on a toasted brioche bun. The two specials were equally enticing – blackened salmon and steak tips in stroganoff and noodles. Though the old Fairways will be sorely missed, you would never have eaten so well there. I sincerely hope that Hangar 5 extends its operating hours to weekdays. Limerick bars need the competition! Highly recommended for a sweet date night.
