Visiting for the weekend and popped by for a quick lunch. Oh, how I was pleasantly surprised. I got the beef kafta kebab bowl with rice and couldn’t stop scooping it up. I love rice and was so pleased with what was in front of me. Outside of that, the kebab was so flavorful and I would’ve been happy even without the sauce. 100% would recommend.

Amazing food. If I lived closer I’d be there at least once a week. The falafel was so good. Liked the Lebanese coffee so much I bought a kit to make it at home. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

I love this place! The freshness and quality of the food is on par with the best places in New York City. The falafel, savory hand pies, rosewater lemonade, and chocolate chip tahini cookies are standouts. You can tell that the owners have poured their hearts into it. A welcome addition to tiny Kinderhook’s foodie scene.

I was skeptical about all the 5 star reviews before eating lunch here. But it was definitely 5 star worthy. Everything was really delicious from the lemonade to the cold cucumber soup. We will definitely be back.

Hamrahs basically catered a family dinner for me -10 different dishes, each to serve 6. It was a feast. The food incredibly presented, fresh and each dish was superb. The staff was wonderful and gave me typed instructions as to how to heat and garnish each dish. i couldn’t have been more pleased. I intend to be a frequent customer. Hamrahs is a true gem to our area. Each dish was healthy, fresh and delicious.

Visited Hamarah’s for the 1st time and it was as good as the review ratings said it would be. The chicken shawarma was very tasty and freshly prepared. It is served as a bowl or wrap. Service was prompt and friendly. They have a mix of soup, salads, a la carte food and desserts. It is on Albany Avenue, a few houses in from the main street, Chatham Street, that runs through Kinderhook, NY. Well worth a visit for take out or eat in (they have four tables of two).

I love this place and stop in when I’m in town. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is amazing- incredible ingredients that I learned is sourced locally! My favorite is the chicken shawarma and my the tahini cookies, and the babaganous is out of this world. You can’t go wrong! Kinderhook is a great place to check out if you’re visiting Hudson and want to get away from the busyness.
