I really wanted to love this place. Unfortunately everything was pretty bland. The brussel sprouts lacked depth. The steak had a decent pepper crust but was tough. The mac and cheese had a lot of potential but lack salt. After adding salt it was pretty decent. Pretty expensive for the quality of flavor.
Server was great. Outdoor seating was nice.

We stopped into this bar and grill several times during our stay and it quickly became a favorite spot.
The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, the snacks were great, and the service was even better. Allison and Boston took such good care of us at the bar—friendly, attentive, and fun to chat with. If I lived in town, I’d probably be here weekly just for the service and vibe alone!

SO good!!
My husband and I were both very pleased with the food!
The crab cakes were outstanding, and we also had the spinach artichoke dip- which was also great!!
Our waitress, whose name I failed to get, (blonde hair, medium length), did a wonderful job also!!
Would recommend!
The only photo I got was of our crème brulee.

Cozy atmosphere. Festive for holidays. Clearly some of the mens baketball team were here having dinner and it was nice to hear the locals at the bar wish them luck on next game on their way out. Clearly a community nexus, which I appreciate, but the food itself was not great. We should have known not to order cocktails from a bartender appearing not old enough to drink. They were both waaaay too strong. Owner is losing money on liquor sales with those kinds of ratios. Fried green tomatoes were burnt and more breading than tomato. The side asparagus was the best thing on my plate. But ended well with the cheesecake, that was amazing.

Absolutely amazing food and service! The Crab cakes are the best I’ve ever had! We went for lunch, but was able to order the filet and have it with lunch side. I ordered my filet with a Ceasar salad and tomato basil soup. The steak was cooked to perfection and was so delicious! I wish I had taken photos, but I dug right in!

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Hamilton’s (we came in Sept 2025). The food and drinks were so good! I loved the scallops!
Our waitress, Taylor, was so fun and personable; she even gave us a complimentary dessert to celebrate our anniversary. She was timely in checking on us; she was knowledgeable of the menu and her recommendations!
We will be back!

Awesome food, service & Atmosphere! Hubby is a big time steak lover & he said his 16 oz rib eye was the best he has ever tasted! I enjoyed the spinach salad as well! We will definitely be back!

First time at Hamilton’s on Magnolia. It will be my last. Paid $150 for a decent filet and a little better tasting Ribeye. The Yukon mash potatoes would have been better. if they had left them in the instant bag they were poured from. The potato steak soup was very gritty. The can must have been past it’s “use by” date. The worst part of the experience was the noise. My wife and I couldn’t carry on a conversation. The only good part was the waitress. Even if, she couldn’t hear me say thank you. We did appreciate her. My advice, lower the price or raise the quality of your steaks and lower the noise level or change the name to Hamilton’s Bar&Grill.

⭐️ Overpriced and Overhyped
I consider myself a foodie and longtime steak lover, having dined at places like Ruth’s Chris, Fogo de Chão, and Nusr-Et many more over the past 30 years. Based on the hype, I finally tried Hamilton’s in Auburn, but the experience was disappointing.
The atmosphere was nice, but menu prices were much higher than expected—nearly double what was shown online. A ribeye was $49, which sets high expectations.
Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the price. The steaks were cooked to the right temperature but were very tough and clearly low-quality meat, despite the menu saying char-grilled. Fish was overly sweet, shrimp was drenched in buffalo-style sauce, and overall flavors were basic.
The bill was $212, and I still tipped my server $38, but even my kids noticed the food wasn’t good. For the price paid, this was not worth it. Auburn has much better value and quality options.

My fiance and I were in town for a job opportunity at a local HBCU in the forestry department. He wanted a juicy steak for dinner and we found Hamilton’s. This fanciful restaurant is amazing. The food was full of flavors, our waiter was knowledable, kind and very understanding to my food allergies. I enjoyed my Shirley Temples and I was highly appreciative for the beverage refills without requesting them. Thank you to the great people in hospitality careers that love their job! I had an excellent experience mingling with some of Auburn’s football players.
