I have always been a fan of Hamburger Stand. Their simple and cheap burgers are fantastic. I love the fries as well. It is sort of a tradition that we pick up Hamburger Stand when going to watch the races. This visit was one of those, and we were not disappointed.
It is not gourmet food but also does not claim to be. Just good burgers at a good price.

I won’t be going back here ever again . I go here often, after today never going there. I ordered a mustard dog a small fry and a large Dr.Pepper. There was a long hair in the hot dog. I had 3 bites and 3 times pulled a hair out of my mouth. I couldn’t finish that. The French fries were cold and hard. Totally disgusting and a waste of money. The quality of the food has been slipping but this was the final straw.

This particular hamburger stand (72nd and federal) is the best fast food on the planet! Seriously, the food is always fast, always fresh and insanely low priced. The staff is friendly, polite and attentive. Best $5 you’ll ever spend

Had fish and chips. Fish was the same color as my fries which were limp and disgusting. Fish was at least hot. Had the mango tea which had no taste. Took a bit to get my order. Definitely will never be back
