We’ve eaten here several times and are constantly surprised by how amazing the food is. It may be the best Indian food I’ve eaten. It still seems to be somewhat undiscovered – I know it opened this year – and I hope they don’t go out of business. The food is amazing and complex. The portions are generous which is refreshing compared to Lotus in San Rafael and Fairfax which I like but serve 1/2 as much. The dishes are way better than Lotus. Please check them out! They do great carry out which we have done as well.

Absolutely the best Indian food in all of Marin. Unique tastes along with unusual specials. The portions were huge while gave us enough food for the next day’s lunch.

SO good. Some of the best Indian food in the Bay area. Better than any i have had in four years of living in Portland, too. The chicken dishes are prepared to the highest standards. Cauliflower too. I could not speak of this place more highly. Excellent, friendly service and a great chef and host. I will be back soon!

Fantastic food, service, and overall experience! It’s actually hard to explain the amazing level of service that both the chef and server delivered… The food was incomparable to nearly any other Indian food I’ve had in attention to detail and taste. The rogan josh had big, tender pieces of lamb with all kinds of finely chopped vegetables mixed in and cooked perfectly. The samosas were fantastic and even the kheer had just the right touches of raisins, almonds, and spices on top.

Ate here Oct 2019. Nice cloth tablecloths; beautiful presentation china and service. Excellent food..spiced per diner’s request..freshly cooked. Especially good vegetarian selections. Moderate pricing. One star off for odd way you check out (waitress brings bill but fails to tell you to walk to cash register). Definitely worth going to often, though! Leave plenty of time!

Great food! I had butter chicken, my girlfriend had chicken coco – that’s hard to describe, mildly sweet from carrots but very spicy, everything was really fresh and prepared with attention. We also had rosemary naan. We’ll be back! #healthy #vegetarianfriendly

Excellent food, made to order and the naan was hot out of the tandoor. Huge portions so expect to take home leftovers. Seems mostly like a takeout place; the dining room is so hilariously bleak you could easily think you’re somewhere in India.

It seems other people like the food here, but my experience, perhaps on an off day, was not good. Most of the food was overcooked, including the chicken, cholle and the salmon, which was inedible. The garlic naan was good, but the saffron version was thick and overcooked. I won’t be eating here again.

Definitely best Indian food in the whole of Marin and the best I have had since I moved to the US 12 years ago. The couple who own it are amazing and the dishes are authentic and great

Superb food! The complex sauces honor the flavors of the main ingredients. Cooked with an attention to detail and a delicate touch that enchants the palate. The Nargeshi Malai Kofta creamy sauce highlights the perfectly cooked cauliflower, fruit and crumbly dumplings. The chef’s special Bombay Brussels sprouts are oven roasted and tossed in a mustard cream sauce with enough caramelized onion to satisfy those who mostly have to long for more. Chef Kamal’s Chicken Lazeez is minced chicken and fresh spinach in a creamy sauce with a touch of mint and intriguing herbs. The Kheer is refined and just sweet enough. The chef loves to cook and to serve people and it is most pleasing. This new place is a real find. Our family will be back!
