I really like the design of this place, it has strong Lebanese vibes and feels authentic. Unfortunately, it was very hot inside (maybe the AC wasn’t working), and there were a lot of flies, which made it uncomfortable to eat there.
We ordered tabbouleh, cheese rolls, and chicken shawarma. The tabbouleh dressing was excellent, but the dish itself was served warm instead of cold, had too many onions, and not enough tomatoes. More tomatoes and fewer onions would have balanced it better. The cheese rolls were good! The chicken shawarma is one of the best I’ve ever had! I added fries inside, and it made it even better.

Hala Beirut Restaurant has absolutely amazing food at very reasonable prices! The flavors are authentic, the portions are generous, and everything tastes freshly made. The atmosphere is cozy and the service is friendly. Highly recommended for anyone craving delicious Lebanese cuisine without overspending!

Nice and clean on the inside. They were so friendly. Food was 10/10. I ordered Deboned Chicken, it came with rice, pita bread and garlic. It was soooo much food, way too much for just me. I’m happy to have left overs for tomorrow. Definitely recommend!

We ordered the 6 piece deboned chicken and the loaded rice chicken shawarma bowl. Both dishes had large quantities of rice and chicken. I was not expecting to be handed the FULL pan and an additional bag when I picked up our order.
The chicken was well grilled, tender, juicy and smokey. The rice was light and fluffy. The white & chipotle sauce on the bowl had a nice kick to it!
The owners are very friendly, welcoming and engaging.

5$ for a Zaatar Pie is way too expensive. I was expecting it to be standard size like you get from bakeries in Dearborn. It is very disappointing to charge 5$ for Zaatar Pie.
3PCS BONELESS CHICKEN + Rice was also small in portion and too salty. It is mentioned that it comes with a side of pickles, but it came with only pieces of Jalapenos.

This place looks gross and the food was terrible. We went late at night, we asked for shawarma and if the grape leaves were home made , they said yes. Needless to say it was canned leaves and definitely not shawarma

Fantastic food. Plenty of options for vegetarians. I got the beef kebab plate and it’s definitely one of the tastiest plates of food I’ve ever eaten. My partner, who is vegetarian, got the lentil soup, hummous, and a plate of falafels, all delicious.
The lovely owners are a pleasure to talk to. Very friendly atmosphere, fun music from the land, and an overall pleasant experience. Highly recommend!

HALA BEIRUT in Hamtramck has BEST hummus, lentil soup, & chicken shawarma I’ve had in Detroit Metro area!! Owner is very kind. She also let me taste vegetarian grape leaves & chicken soup (mama’s recipe) too. Looking forward to exploring the rest of menu items.

Absolutely amazing place. I get their chicken salad and the chicken is super flavorful. One thing I will add is it is sometime inconsistent, make sure the owner is there (super friendly) my chicken last night was dry and unseasoned.
