Based in NYC’s Chinatown, we want to bring contemporary dishes that respect Chinese classical cuisine traditions that have stood the test of time to New York City. Hakka literally mean “guest families” who settled in present day South China from northern regions.

A unique experience, dishes done with exceptional skill. Chicken skin stuffed with fish paste, just trying to figure out the concept and how delicate this dish is. Pork belly and ribs braised very well with good sauce. Tofu skin with mushrooms, tenderous beef stew both hit the spot ended with sweet dessert soup.

The portions are huge! The food is fresh as the produce all had a decent crunch and texture. Very clean restaurant and bathrooms, not something typically seen in Chinatown.

100% Definitely the most recommended Hakka restaurant in Chinatown. Clean environment, luxurious decoration, delicious food, friendly service with reasonable prices. I had Order it lunch here before. And this time came with my colleague.

Upscale atmosphere, Tina our server was the best. Make sure to ask for her. Food was very upscale, flavors and presentation were over the top. My new go to place for Chinese in NYC

Service was great and the food was really good too. The skin of the fried milk was a bit thick for my liking. I would recommend any dish that says Hakka on it as it is their specialty.

We found this place by accident. OMG!!! Great fresh food. Friendly staff. The quality of the food is exceptional. Try the salt and pepper eel. Divine. The mei fun was perfectly done. The veggies were so delicious. We will be back.

Excellent Hakka cuisine, and true old school Cantonese free perks – fruit & red bean soup! Great specialty dishes – stuffed chicken, steamed fish, claypot

We came here for my aunt’s birthday party and the food and service were both excellent. Some of our favorites were Dungeness crab with fried sticky rice, black pepper short ribs, pea shoots, and lobster with crispy noodles.
