I have been ordering pizzas from hags formerly red Savoy in Newport for over 20 years. I have referred many people saying it’s the best pizza I’ve ever had. The sauce is delicious a little spicy the cheese is plentiful the sausage is delicious. I picked up a pizza about a month ago it was burnt. I didn’t say anything I just thought oh well not so good very disappointed. I’m not one to complain but I did take a picture of it and I ordered another pizza last night. I didn’t even want to bring it home it was entirely overcooked n ooey gooey stringy cheese at all. I threw it out after taking a picture of it. I went in person today to tell them about my experience and they could have cared less. They’ve lost my business and all the referrals I’ve given them over the years. Very disappointed it was my favorite pizza.

It’s all about the pizza quality here; the space is no frills get in and get out with your food; when you get it home it’s the best MN style pizza around with an amazing mildly spicy, peppery sauce that is not available anywhere else, and gives the pizza a firm kick to it. Cheese is the real stuff and generously applied; my go to pizza is sauerkraut and onion. As the comparisons are made it should be noted that Hags is much better product than franchised Savoys.

Ordered a 10inch gluten free pizza with mushroom, onion, green pepper. When I picked it was $22 –overpriced. I usually buy frozen gluten free as they are delicious. Hag’s gluten free was not good. Couldn’t eat it and ended up throwing it away. The veggie toppings were minimal and hard to be found. I would suggest redoing your gluten free crust and using more veggies

Hag’s is takeout only. The pizza is outstanding. The sauce has some kick to it and it is the star of the show. The crust is thin and has just the right balance between chewy and crispy. They do not skimp on cheese or toppings and they cook the pie to perfection. Hag’s is not close to home, but it’s worth a trip. This is a great pizza.

Perfect Twin Cities style pizza! Hags has a new name but they have been making fantastic pizza since I was a kid. If you’re new to the area, Twin Cities style pizza to me is thin crust, cheese on top of the toppings and cut into squares. Hags does it right!!

No barely baked pizza here. Their crust is crispy and the cheese is nicely browned. The sauce has a lot of flavor instead of the tomato paste you get at other places. They didn’t pack a bunch of frills into their location but don’t worry. They put all their passion into the pizza!

Best pizza this side of the equator! When you order a pizza and it’s 5 meat with extra vegetables they don’t skimp on any toppings. They add more and they still get it done perfectly! Kudos Hags!!!!!

After enjoying Savoys pizza for years and then closing on us my son kept telling me how good Hags pizza was so we tried it and how fantastic it was. We had the Canadian bacon pineapple it was out of this world. So happy to have great pizza again . Drive from Lake Elmo and it is worth the drive

We ordered online on our way to a family members house. They said 30 minutes, and we got there in 30 minutes. Our pizza was hot and ready! We got a large Pep pizza with cheese bread for around 25 to 30 bucks. Prices very reasonable. The building is small. With no seating, and a few workers working their butts off behind the counter. Nice and friendly! Got our oder right away and paid with a credit card and tipped with cash. The only reason I gave 3 stars for atmosphere is because it is nothing special, but it doesn’t need to be. The pizza and cheese bread speak for themselves. I would highly recommend! The pizza had alot of cheese, and was thinking crust cooked perfectly!
