We decided to take another trip to L A and visit our son. He took us to Hae Ha Heng Thai Bistro on 3rd and Western. Upon entering it had a nice retro and comfortable atmosphere. We ordered fried gyoza, Thai hot wings, filet of sole, teriyaki chicken, and noodle soup and Thai tea. The sauces on the dishes were flavorful and added a nice kick to already well presented dishes. Servers were quick and attentive. Underground parking is available…with an elevator to take you to the 2nd floor. Bottomless mimosas and sangria served all day everyday.

The atmosphere was nice, and although the meat in the dish was a bit tough, the overall taste was good. They have a lunch special, and drinks are included, so the food prices are reasonable.

Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — Hae Ha Heng Thai Bistro nails it with both their Pad Thai and Papaya Salad.

The Pad Thai is perfectly stir-fried with tender chicken, chewy rice noodles, and a rich, balanced sauce. Topped with crisp bean sprouts, shredded carrots, and a lime wedge for a fresh kick.

The Papaya Salad is a vibrant mix of crunchy veggies, peanuts, shrimp, and that signature Thai tangy-spicy flavor. Super refreshing and visually stunning!

Both dishes are a delicious blend of tradition and presentation. Highly recommend!

We got the fried tofu, shrimp wonton, calamari rings, cream cheese wonton, chicken pad see ew, Tom yum soup, and pineapple fried rice. The tofu and shrimp wonton was basically dead without the sauce. The cream cheese wonton (my personal favorite) was awesome and tasty. The tom yum soup was spicy and flavorful. The calamari rings were good but I had better. The spicy mayo type of sauce that came with the calamari rings was awesome though. We came during happy hour which ends at 7. During happy hour, the shrimp and cream cheese wonton, and the fried tofu cost about $2 each. They also had water that is the perfect temp.

The service was good. They asked if we were enjoying our food, and got us those water cups in no time! They were very hospitable.

The atmosphere was moderately quiet. There is music playing in the background and sitting on the outdoor patio is very refreshing.

This place is a pretty nice place to go to.

This place has a nice zen atmosphere about it, The Severs are very attentive and pleasant to have. The Lunch special is what I order $15 bucks main plate side salad and a drink. Can’t beat that while the rice comes as a heart. You should know it good

Service was fantastic and the food looked great! Unfortunately, before the food arrived, I had to leave due to a medical emergency. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate — quickly switching to put everything in to-go containers so that we were still able to get our food. They were so kind and hospitable despite the chaos I had thrown their way. Hope to actually eat there soon.

Update: Still the undisputed champion of Thai food!

Update: Hands down the best Thai food in Los Angeles!!!! Never, ever let’s us down!

Update: Give this place love! Tried some new dishes and it was all the best in town!

Update: Finally got a chance to dine in and I am sad that I didn’t dine in much sooner! What a gem! This lives up to every Thai restaurant in LA and I would argue that it’s the best of the best!

Update: Hands down the best of the best Thai food delivered and its not even close!!!!!

Update: Tried again because my wife said give them another chance and I did. I was quite surprised how they fixed their delivery issue. It was on time once and then I thought they were lucky. Tried it again and they were on time again! Now we are regulars. Great work here putting client feedback into results!

I NOW ONLY ORDER THAI FOOD FROM HERE!!!!!

Excellent Thai food spot ! The only thing to improve on is probably service (takes 10 ish minutes for someone to notice you waiting to be seated).
If there’s no parking in the complex then there’s plenty of (free during happy hours / weekdays) street parking on 3rd street.
They were accommodating of our small dog on the patio !
Excellent value during happy hour , you can sample most of their appetizers for $2 per 2 , 3 or 1 pieces depending on the item.
Their mains are pretty filling and mostly <$15 regular pricing.
The pad Thai was (piping hot so wait a minute before you eat it ! Lol) but delicious , the noodles were perfect.
Pad see ew was delicious as well. Don’t think about it just stop by! Especially if it’s happy hour .
