My husband and I both ordered a Taco Salad Fajita with strips of grilled steak. The food looked appealing and tasted great. I rarely order steak for Mexican dishes, because I can’t always expect good quality meat. The meat in my salad was perfect: tender and savory. We knew the meal would be big enough to share, but we were glad to have leftovers to enjoy it all over again.

What a pleasant surprise finding this place. Service was excellent and the food was great. The atmosphere was laid back and very clean.

Stopped in again and had a Fajita chicken lunch. This place is a great food stop!

The best Mexican restaurant in Wabash. The staff is really friendly, the food is good. Stop in and check out Betty’s new atmosphere. They are constantly improving and updating. It is always clean and they will make you feel like they really are happy to see you with them.

Long wait to order with near empty place (20 min), very quiet waitress (couldn’t understand her whispering), no refills, not checked on, dry chicken. Carne Rico was very good. Highly doubt I’ll be back.

Food tasted amazing but the service of this particular visit was slow. They were mostly friendly but a 20 minute wait to get drinks when its not busy seems uncalled for.

Food was terrible. No flavor. Service was slow as molasses. We were 3/4 the through our meal before my niece got her cheese dip. I couldn’t read their chicken scratch on the bill so when I went to pay I asked to make sure everything was on it as it didn’t seem right. The lady at the register said I don’t fing know either as I can’t read it either. Then said oh well. The servers brought out several meals that we didn’t order. I specifically asked for no tomato or onion and my Taco salad had both. Won’t be back. I will stick with another place.

Habanero Grill one of my most favorite local traditional Mexican eateries.beautiful Family atmosphere. Exquisite large portions of many traditional dishes, awesome margaritas, and great selection of beers. Along with fine dining in an ultra clean, and beautifully decorated facility as well a very caring staff make this a must try five star rated Cantina.excellent food at reasonable prices.

This place is almost your run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurant in American – a reliable stop to get a solid amount of delicious food at a reasonable price. And they deliver on that.

But I came here and grabbed the “Habanero Molcajete” and this dish was . You get the standard plate of beans and rice, but then they bring out this sizzling hot bowl of various meats and drop a huge chunk of queso on top. I’ve never seen this before. It’s a bit expensive, but worth it.

Service was fast even though it was late in the day, and the restaurant has a lot of seating and cool decor.

I kept my expectations low as this is Northern Indiana and well… you know. Lol

I actually enjoyed it a lot. Definitely beats Mexican food in Ohio! I had the quesadilla with rice and it was pretty good. They offer fresh guacamole which was nice to see as so many restaurants are moving towards that guacamole ‘sauce’ these days. The salsa had a good flavor but no heat. I asked the waitress for from chile sauce and she brought me some restaurant made green salsa that was YUMMY! It’s off the menu, so if you want some heat – just ask and they’ll bring you some.

Overall, I enjoyed it and would definitely go back if we visit the area again.

Side note: I took a pic of the high chairs because they really are the cutest I’d ever seen.
