Overall, good Thai food. Ordered pad Thai and green chicken curry. Decent amount but not the best tasting Thai food. Kind of sweet!

We came here with a craving for Thai food and left kind of disappointed. Everything was just over the threshold of being too spicy to be enjoyable (and I like spicy food). We tried a more authentic sounding (tod munn) appetizer and it was okay, but the sauce was not a peanut sauce as described on the menu. We were given very little rice with our meal, which seemed odd as it was not cheap but rice is. The menu also said the rice was jasmine rice, but it definitely was not. The staff was nice. The place was mostly empty. We came for Thai food and we got thai food, it just wasn’t great.

Loved it! Nice atmosphere, very friendly and polite staff, and the cellophane noodle dish I got was awesome! Portion sizes are very good too, and my cocktail was excellent. Would definitely recommend

Haad Thai in Washington DC is a convenient spot for a quick lunch. However, it’s worth noting that their Thai dishes tend to be somewhat Americanized, which might not satisfy those seeking authentic flavors. Additionally, the service can be lukewarm at times. If you’re looking for a speedy meal with a more Americanized Thai twist, Haad Thai could still be a suitable choice, but for a truly authentic Thai experience, you may want to explore other options in the area.

I recently visited a Thai restaurant and had an amazing experience. The ambiance was incredibly peaceful, making it a perfect spot for a date night or a quiet dinner with friends. The food was some of the best Thai cuisine I have ever tasted, with a perfect balance of flavors and spices. The staff was very welcoming and attentive, making sure that our meal was enjoyable and relaxing. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and tranquil dining experience. Overall, it was a wonderful evening and I cannot wait to return to try more dishes from their menu.

Wonderful restaurant in downtown DC! Down the street from The Grand Hyatt. Vast menu with plenty of great options. My family is vegetarian and don’t eat fish either. We were pleasantly pleased with their vegetarian menu items that could be made without fish sauce. The portion sizes were generous and they will make spice levels from mild to very spicy.

Green curry is my fav dish but it was completely tasteless and the sauce was like water. Probably the worst Thai food I have had in a year. The only other thai place in the area was closed so had to come here but had a feeling it was not gonna be good since they don’t have a lot of competition. Avoid this place.

The reason for 2 star is due to the cost.. for me 85 dollars is very expensive for 2 pad thai (that were normal but not tasty as the real Bangkok pad thai) and 2 mango sticky Rice. Also, the Iced Tea was brown water.

I have eaten here twice and enjoyed my food each time. The pad Thai is always a safe choice but the drunken noodles with shrimp were exceptional. They have wonderful margaritas and of course, Thai iced tea! The prices are amazing too.
