When Gypsy Cab Company first opened its doors in 1983, something new was introduced to the world ~ urban cuisine! It’s a little of a lot…a blend of a lot of little influences. Our cab fare (daily menu) is prepared by a creative and innovative culinary team and ‘borrows’ from Italian, German, Cajun, Mediterranean, classical European, Southern, Oriental, and ‘Floribbean’ cuisines. Gypsy Cab Company has a reputation for being a casual restaurant with exceptional food that offers a unique dining experience. Located on Anastasia Island just over the Bridge of Lions and less than a mile from The St. Augustine Amphitheater.

OMG! This place is so good. Went out with a group of friends riding and one person heard good things about this place. So stopped here and they accommodated 7 of us. I had the Gypsy Cab Wrap. Out of this world. The rest of the group got breakfast. They all said their meals were great. I had one of the grits, and it is really good. The eggs Benedict looked great. They also have one with salmon. I am heading back here when I am back in St. Augustine.

I attended a 50th birthday party for my niece at Gypsy Cab Company. There were 25 in our group and the food and service was awesome! The Gypsy Chicken was a hit! Very delicious and a good time. Shout out to our server Frank, he was great and did an excellent job!

We had a great lunch here today. We’ve passed by a thousand times and never tried the Gypsy until today. After lunch we wish we would have visited sooner. We had great and welcoming service. My patty melt was up to par and the fries were fresh, hot and crispy.

This is one place here I always come back to. The food is impeccable. Not your traditional Mom and Pop cuisine. If your in St Augustine it’s a must have. You won’t be disappointed. Service was great. Food came out in a decent amount of time. I love the Gypsy Chicken.
