First time trying their breakfast menu. Kim was very pleasant and attentive. The food was probably the best breakfast we have had living in this area and that’s coming from a foodie. We will most definitely be back!

I found out they started breakfast so my sisters and I decided to check it out and it’s so good, from the food quality which it’s just like other businesses in the area but you don’t have to wait for a table!
The food was great and they offer mimosa, which was delicious. I had the traditional french toast and sub out eggs for roasted potatoes and the drink was strawberry and orange mimosa.
I definitely recommend this place and I will be back for the breakfast for sure.

We were pleasantly surprised to find Gus’s now serves breakfast, and delighted with our food! Their pancakes are fluffy and delicious, and their Mediterranean skillet hash was incredible. One of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had. If you haven’t been to Gus’s for breakfast, you’re missing out! Our server, Jenna, was a sweetheart and very attentive. We will be back, again and again!

The other night we ordered 10 wings and a large cheese pie. Came to 28 bucks. On arrival, my husband is presented with 10 wings and cheese FRIES. The lady explained “that’s what you ordered” and nothing further. We brought a newborn home that night and NO ONE was in the mood for arguing. Wrong food was bad enough.
I called after he got home, and the lady I spoke with her words were “I explained to him he ordered a cheese fry.” I told her that was unacceptable and how could we resolve this. She said best I can do is ring in a discount for a pizza.
1 – order was not verified back to ensure correctness.
2 – end of the day, you made the WRONG order. Regardless if you heard fry instead of pie. Its wrong.
3 – NO offer was made to correct it, on site or after. Basically sucks for you.
4 – I’ve attached a picture of what we got as soon as the boxes were open. Even if I did order cheese fries, I’d be very unhappy with the quality, presentation, and amount of food. For 28 dollars no less. Had we not been so tired, that entire order would have been left at the store unpaid.
The complete lack of ownership absolutely baffles me. We’re new to the area and looking for a new pizza shop. Needless to say, we’re still looking.

I didn’t realize they had breakfast until this morning when I got off work and wanted breakfast and a drink! Lol They were kind and accommodating and also learned breakfast just started a few months ago! Will definitely be back as my place after work! Ate our food before taking a pic!

As a NY transplant I’ve been hunting for 2 1/2 years for a good pizza and this is it! In fact it was great! The service was impeccable the drinks were outstanding but the pizza made my heart sing! Thank you for a most enjoyable experience and food!

Usually come into Gus’s Pizza for breakfast. It is located near to the Stoney Run Community in Newport News, Va. The atmosphere is clean and well appointed for casual dining. There is also a nice bar with a wall mounted music machine. Behind the bar there are several sports pictures….favorites of the owners.The food is always spectacular and cooked to perfection and our hostess is Kim. She is very attentive with a beautiful personality. The last time I was here, I had the Traditional French Toast. It was spectacular. This meal came with two eggs, meat, fresh fruit and French toast. Everything cooked to perfection. I highly recommend Gus’s Pizza and plan on continuing to visit them.

I tried Gus’s for breakfast and wasn’t disappointed. First time in I tried the Mediterranean Skillet Hash. The blending of the different flavors was amazing. Next time, I tried the Garden Omelet and was just as impressed. Both came with a fresh fruit cup and toast. The fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee rounded out the experience. Definitely worth it when looking for someplace new for breakfast.

If I could give this place more than five stars, I would! Every single thing on the menu is incredible — from the garlic cheese bread (which is seriously addictive) to the pizzas, salads, chicken Philly, and even the cheeseburgers. I love that I can order something different every time I go and it always tastes amazing.The staff is just as impressive as the food. Everyone is so friendly, welcoming, and attentive.
