Groundswell Surf Cafe is located directly on Salisbury Beach and offers everything from breakfast sandwiches to açaí bowls to smoothies to locally produced coffee. Our Salisbury cafe is open seasonally from April to November, but our Seabrook location is open year round!

Yummy, fresh food and can’t beat the location being literally on the beach! I’ve come here several times in the summer but didn’t realize it’s open year round, a great place to grab a drink or food and people watch out the windows. Service was also very friendly!

My husband and I grabbed breakfast here one Sunday. Be aware, the line is usually long as their aren’t many breakfast options nearby. I got their vegan breakfast burrito, which was stuffed with veggies and had decent flavor. They were attentive to my dairy allergy. My husband really enjoyed his more standard breakfast burrito.

Love this place! Best coffee around, yummy burritos, açaí bowls, smoothies and pastries. And location can’t be beat. They often have a line and it can take a few minutes to get your food because it’s all made fresh and to order. Totally worth the wait! Locally sourced ingredients, everything is fresh and creative, and the shop is adorable. Stuff is great, super friendly and attentive.

Beachside café with a nice patio and great food.
We came here early on a Sunday morning while taking our dog for a beach walk. Since it was the only place open in the area, we initially thought it might be a tourist trap. However, we were pleasantly surprised by the whole experience—it was anything but a “ruff” start to the day.
The café shares a spacious patio area with the Surfside restaurant. Since Surfside was closed during our visit, we snagged one of the large tables on the patio. They also allow dogs (on leash only), which was a major plus. The glass fence at the edge of the patio offered an unobstructed view of the ocean, so it was a perfect spot to soak in the scenery on a quiet Sunday morning.
As others have mentioned, it did take about 20 minutes to get our two burritos ready, but it was worth the wait. We ordered the classic burrito and the Baja burrito. The latter was especially one of the best breakfast burritos I’ve had in a while. The hash browns inside added an extra layer of crispiness that perfectly complemented the classic combo of eggs, avocado, and sausage. The real game-changer was their signature Baja sauce on the side, which added a satisfying acidic kick.
The smoothie and the frappe were a bit too sweet for my taste, but if you’re looking for light food and great views, I highly recommend stopping by.

What a cute coffee shop!! It’s right on the beach so you really can’t beat the view or atmosphere. It was so relaxing and fun to drink my coffee on the beach. Coffee was delicious by the way. Also got some yummy scones. Definitely will be back!

You can walk along the beach from many of the rentals and order: Super nice and convenient.
There tends to be a line on weekends; and service can be slow; so don’t stop here if you’re late for work (not that I know from personal experience ).
The Smoothie Bowls are yummy and gluten-free; otherwise, the gluten-free pastries sell out super fast (I never got there early enough).

Super convenient and beautiful location right by Salibury Beach. High quality ingredients and well prepared. I had a Baja breakfast burrito which comes with chorizo and added avocado. I was impressed. The burrito comes pressed and cut in half. Delicious and reasonably priced for the quality. My husband had a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel and was also happy. There are chairs and tables you can sit at outside. It was a brisk and cloudy morning but still great to have breakfast by the ocean. Staff was very friendly, you can see their smiles even though they’re wearing masks. Thanks guys!

I don’t usually write reviews but this café is wonderful! The location is beautiful (directly next to the beach) and my breakfast was delicious! All the employees were very kind and accommodating as well. I highly recommend trying this out. I will definitely be returning for lunch!
